Great for a cardio workout!
The Black Eyed Peas are great to begin with! However, this CD is probably my favorite. Song #1, Boom Boom Pow gets you moving. Song #3, Meet me Halfway has a "catchy" sound to it and you'll still be thinking about it while listening to the next song. Song #5, I Gotta Feeling, is one of those you'll be singing later in the day, when you realize it's been stuck in your head throughout the morning--you can't sit still with this beat. The next few songs, #9, Party all the time is a good number, however, #12, Showdown has my entire family consumed till the end...the haunting voice at the end is a bit creepy. I also enjoy #13, Now Generation... You can feel the energy reignite. Great CD that you'll need to listen to at least 3 times through to make you realize there are more songs you ... It will help me get that 'Boom, Boom, Pow!'
After hearing the song "Boom, Boom, Pow" by this group numerous times at a favorite restaurant, I did a Google search using some of the lyrics in the song so that I could find out the song's title and the name of the artist who sings it. Thanks to this search, I was then able to order a copy of this album. So now, even though I still very much enjoy going to my favorite restaurant and hearing the DJ spin tunes, I can hear that "thumpin', pumpin', bumpin'" bass sound whenever I want to. I had heard the song at the restaurant numerous times, and I wanted to own a copy of a CD containing that particular song. So I'm thankful! And if you want to know what I like about it, three words: the boomin' bass. Great CD!
Love the Black Eyed Peas. Great value for the CD, there were no scratches on the disk. Popped it into my car and it works great.
