Good value for money. Would definitely reccommend.
Even though hard drives are in a very mature stage of development, WD is still finding innovative ways to boost hard drive performance, while further enhancing functionality and reliability. The refreshed/refurbished Scorpio Blue shows that innovation can still occur, as WD delivers class-leading performance with their design. For those contemplating the trade offs that many ultrathin notebooks and tablets present buyers with, having a high-capacity hard drive offering that performs well is nice to have. Coupled with a small caching SSD in front, users can get the blend of performance and capacity that many desire. Pros: Slim size means compatibility with Ultrabooks, compatible with standard notebook drive bays, best of class performance in most benchmarks. Cons: 5400RPM maximum speed ... Bought for parts.
I needed this specific hard drive to rescue a crashed hard drive of the same model. It served as a host for the disks and lasted long enough to copy the information to a new home. The cost and value of this used hard drive met my expectations.

Reliable and quiet hard drive, compatible with the Xbox 360 Slim!
I bought this hard drive with the intent to use it inside my Xbox 360 Slim. Of course, it requires modding the HDD firmware with a program called "hddhackr" before you stick it in the Xbox (look it up). After doing all that, it ended up working perfectly! So far, it's plenty fast for running installed games, and I can't hear it at all while it's active. Installed Xbox games can take up around 8GB average, and you have about 228GB of actual formatted space to use. Great laptop hard drive.
This hard drive went into a Dell Inspiron 1525 where it slides in and out with a caddy that is integrated with the machine. It is the perfect hard drive for this laptop or others it can fit into since it has a large capacity and performs well.

This one in particular has one big strength - it can be used to upgrade an Xbox 360 hard drive cheaply and quickly. There are guides on the Internet, all that needs to be done is connecting it to a computer and using a DOS utility to flash it, and then inserting it into the enclosure.
