    Blue Eyes Toni Morrison Book

    Michelle Obama book was way better..Yes it was a autobiography book.. But I thought Blue Eyes would be better booo!!!.. Maybe I need to reread it again..I have the Solomon book I will see how Toni Morrison will do with that..Thanks

    Made me realize how much one can suffer.

    This novel is moving, passionate, frightening. I would definitely recommend it only to those strong in heart and stomach enough to journey through this book. The suffering of the characters is elaborately detailed, leaving no painful iota out. There are sexual scenes that are described in graphic detail. Reader's discretion is advised. I would not recommend for those who do not have a deep understanding of African American culture. This novel would, however, make a thought-provoking addition to the shelves of any African American female, particularly those who are young.
