    The 47th Samurai

    I love the entire Stephen Hunter series about Bob Lee Swagger. He is a very good writer and the stories are interconnected, continuous and best read in order, although any can stand alone. I had somehow missed this one and realized it when it was referred to in the next book. It was a different Bob Lee book, but very true to characterization and it was interesting and enjoyable as all the others are! If you haven't tried the Bob Lee Swagger books, I highly recommend them for good writing and excellent stories about an old sniper who returns to work for a cause.

    Hard to put down

    This is a great book by Stephen Hunter and a really good place to start his series. You meet Earl the WWII hero father through flashbacks and Bob Lee who is a cross between an old Jason Borne, Sherlock Holmes and Andy Griffith. Samurai sword fighting, a good plot and blood and revenge when sword meets flesh. A great middle aged "guy" book.

    The 47th Samurai by S. Hunter

    I bought this book for my husband but decided to read it myself. It was a wonderful action packed story. I loved it. I just did not want to put it down. I highly recommend this book to anyone. This author is a really good author, he usually grabs you on the first page and this book was no exception.
