The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of!
That's the line Bogart's character, Sam Spade, says to describe the Maltese Falcon. The Haunted Studio's Falcon is a beautifully crafted and realistic replica. Anyone would be hard pressed to spot differences between the Haunted Studios replica and the actual movie prop shown in photos. At nearly 1 foot tall it is not dinky! And, at 10 lbs the Haunted Studios Falcon has plenty of weight that adds even more realism. What a conversation piece! I have had visitors lift the Falcon for a closer look and are totally shocked at the heft and detail. I've even been able to convince most of them that what they are holding is the real movie prop. It's a lot of fun to watch their reaction. Of course, I "come clean" with them, but, the "wow factor" continues even when they find out it's a ... Decent Movie Prop Replica
I wasn't going to write a review, but I decide to write my observations anyway. First, under NO circumstances should one place the Falcon on a varnish, polyurethane or the like type finished surface. Place the Falcon on a coaster or something with a solid vapor barrier. The finish on the table ($$$) I have was softened and made sticky. My guess is the the Falcon's paint or resin is still outgassing. So be careful with where you place the Falcon. Second, let's cut through the hooey. You are not buying an exact copy of the lead Falcon that went at auction a few years ago for around $4m. The finish and sharpness of the casting and paint is not here compared to the pictures at the auction (and movie stills for that matter). Best Maltese Falcon statue ever!!!!
If you are a Bogart fan and like The Maltese Falcon movie, you will love this creation by Haunted Studios. I purchased their 10 pound Falcon and I couldn't be happier. The statue looks impressive and the 10 pounds makes it feel substantial. I was amazed by how well my Falcon was packed for shipping. Totally love it!!!!

Good Luck Charm?
This black bird is hefty and looks like the one in the Maltese Falcon movie. I bought it to see if it'll give me good luck (the movie that showed this prop was a big hit for Bogart; Moreover, the producers, and all those associated with the production of the movie got good luck too by raking in lots of money and being a box office hit). If this gives me good luck, then it was worth the money I paid for it! :DThis black bird is hefty and looks like the one in the Maltese Falcon movie. As close to the real (or reel) deal as you can get
This Maltese Falcon replica prop really is the stuff dreams are made of. I have wanted one of for years, but only one from Haunted Studios. It is stunning! I walked around the house with it (all 10# of it) for an hour after I got it out of the package. Exceptional craftsmanship and completely as promised.
