Never worked... Very dissatisfied
After I received it (a couple of moths ago) I promptly downloaded the app (iphone 6s), updated the firmware according to instructions received by e-mail, tested it at home in a tub of water, and everything seemed to be fine (pairing, charging etc). Last weekend, I organized a fishing trip (with a boat, at sea). Despite being fully charged, connected with my i-phone and all that, once cast in the sea, I only got a message "ibobber out of the water". It never worked. Not in shallow, nor in deep water. I tried again and again. There is nothing you can do but re-start the app, as the unit is supposed to be working once in the water (no on-off switches or anything). Plus, that in broad daylight the flashing light is not visible, so there is no way of telling if the thing is working or not, ... Ibobber doesn't really work
This is a cool idea but it will not stay connected to my phone. I have to constantly search for the device (Bluetooth ). Once the device is found it only takes about 15 seconds before it disconnects . I don't like spending time getting aggravated when I'm fishing to relax. When it connects is showing no fish. But I see them splashing all around me. Not worth the money.

My bobber
I received my bobber a couple of days early, so that was great. The setup was spot on with the directions. Now, when start using it at the lake there was a minute delay with connectivity with every use. And sometimes during use, I would loose connection. OTHER THAN THAT, the product showed the fish. Depth was accurate and the battery lost 1% the entire 26 hours of fishing. So actually, I’ll give the product a3.5!! I received my bobber a couple of days early, so that was great. Pretty Good Portable Fish Sonar
It was easy to sync up with. I was able to map the lake bed I was fishing with ease and was able to get hits on fish in it with it's sonar. I never thought this retention pond/lake was that deep but it turned out to be 15ft deep and there are some "big" ones in it. At least I know they're there and I'm eager to use this item again. This is by far the best tool in my tacklebox now. For the money paid for it, I can't complain whatsoever and have no buyer's remorse.It was easy to sync up with. Great product and helpful tool
Pros- •Lets you know depth and if weeds are present. Can even go in more detail by using certain settings. •Accurately detects fish and lets you know if it's small(1-15 in) or large (15+ inch). •If you're not an idiot, easy to follow instructions and tips on how to operate. •Range of bobber pretty much as far as many people can cast (that is if you don't put your phone down the interior of your sit-in kayak). Cons- •Can be considered expensive. •Requires a smart device (such as a iPhone, android, etc) with kinda current bluetooth to operate. •Device needs to periodically reconnect with bobber and you need to do so from app manually. This kinda gets annoying but don't know if designer could have done this differently, just a nack to complain about, not too much of a downer. •Would have ...
