Any Bible student should invest in the Works of Josephus
Thought about getting the Works of Josephus years ago, but never did. So glad I finally purchased this one as it has much historical Biblical information.

What information is available??
Great book! I had to read this! With the "SIGN OF THE TIMES" I thought it would be great to refresh my memory and get insight as to what laid ahead for those that remained in Jerusalem 33 years after Jesus prophesy of the destruction of Jerusalem. For those that listened it meant life and for those that did not it meant a horrible death! The WORST DEATH ever, DIS-LOYAL and UN-FAITHFUL to Jehovah! There is a lot of information in this book, but I mainly concentrated on the last days of the Jewish system. As we draw close to the last days I hope we all listen to Jesus words and apply them in our lives to remain faithful to Jehovah and survive this system of things.Great book! I had to read this! The Works of Flavius Josephus is essential reading for any serious student of ancient history or of the Bible. Do you know what happened to Jerusalem in 70 AD? Josephus gives a detailed account, which you may want to compare to the prophecies in the book of the Revelation. His work also contains a complete history of the Hebrews from Adam to the destruction of Jerusalem. Fascinating reading! good reference book for your home library; this older edition is quite wordy and contains Elizabethan English
lots of info -- some specific extra-Biblical sources cited [need to check them, if available]; would prefer a copy of the text in today's English -- the Elizabethan English used is out of style
