Can't hardly live without one!
This is my third PAG240. The latest one lasted 10 years before losing the barometric/altitude sensor. My first one was on my wrist for about ten years before the function buttons started jamming. They never need a battery changeout because they use solar power to charge. I wear it often in the pool and shower without a hiccup and they just keep on ticking! Rugged and reliable. Replete with great features for the outdoorsman
Reliable. Stylish. Multiple functions are accurate and easy to perform. Durable case and band, and no longer need to worry about battery life with solar recharging function. Would definitely recommend to others, especially those who enjoy the outdoors.

G Shock Tough With Some Cool Features
I've owned Casio G Shock watches since the 1980's. They usually last about 8 years then the holes the watch band pins go in are worn out. I've read other reviews on this particular watch and several of the people say this PAG 240 is as tough as a G Shock. I have to agree that this is a tough watch. It has become my new daily wear watch. The time display is large and the adjust button allows me to toggle between barometer graph, day, and year on the time keeping screen. Living in Wyoming the barometer is vital to keep an eye on the weather. The altimeter is pretty close to actual. The watch itself is larger than my atomic/solar G Shock but not so big as to interfere with my duties. If you are interested in this watch I highly recommend it as a daily wearer. It is ... Fantastic sports watch for the price, would buy again!!!
I needed a new watch after my old one (which was a cheap Walmart watch, by the way) finally pulled a blues brothers and stopped working. I knew that I wanted something that had an altimeter and barometer, but did not want to break the bank. So instead of going to REI, Sears, or any other store that sold these kinds of watches in person and shelling out $300+, I did my homework and found this Casio Pathfinder for a fairly reasonable price on Amazon. But just as I was about to pull the trigger and get it, I saw it for cheaper here on eBay and purchased it then. I have tested everything out and all of the features and tools work flawlessly as they should. I can now set up to five (yes, you didn't misread that) alarms, tell what my altitude is, have a stopwatch and timer, tell when the ... Good watch. Bad watch band.
The watch band leaves much to be desired. Casio has decided to make their watch band, proprietary. The attachment to the case is unusual, to say the least. I normally change the hard plastic band to a more comfortable silicone band with a deployment clasp. Because of their ridiculous design, I had to reverse the band attachment and install my own after market deployment clasp. So, I'm still stuck with the uncomfortable hard rubber band. I guess Casio has decided that they wanted to sell a new 30 dollar band when the original band fails. NOT A Fan!The watch band leaves much to be desired.
