In director Brett Ratner's RUSH HOUR 3, African-American cop James Carter (Chris Tucker) once again reunites with Chinese inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) to both taunt and battle bad guys. Whereas the first movie was on Carter's turf, and the second was set in Lee's homeland, this outing finds both Carter and Lee out of their element in Paris, dealing not only with criminals, but also with the quirks of French culture. Along the way, Lee must confront his old friend Kenji (Hiroyuki Sanada) in order to save the day.Fresh off of his highly successful (though critically maligned) "threequel" X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, Ratner tackles the third chapter of his own popular series, which follows the second movie by six years. Once again, Tucker provides the wisecracks, while Chan, who tones down the acrobatics, remains the emotional center of the franchise. Though Sanada (SUNSHINE, RINGU) and Von Sydow (MINORITY REPORT, THE SEVENTH SEAL) add a bit of gravitas to the film, and Polanski amuses with his rare acting appearance, RUSH HOUR 3 isn't quite as quick on its feet as previous installments, but it still provides plenty of slapstick comedy and relatively light action sequences, making it most readily appealing to teens.

The cd arrived earlier then expected. The cd quality is great. As for this being the Leader of the pack cd it's in name only. This is not the original version of Leader of the Pack it does not have all of the original 12 songs. If I had known the track listing I would not have purchased it. Thanks to the seller for not adding the track list.

    a good one for laughs

    Ok, I was a bit hesitant to watch this movie as I've heard mixed reviews about it. But here's what you need to know. If you want a relaxing, funny, slightly incredible movie; watch this. Don't see this movie expecting a gripping storyline, unexpected twists and turns or any brainy stuff, let me tell you you're not gonna get it. But it serves its purpose by delivering punch lines and slap stick comedy straight on. Add to that the fact that half the movie brought the Chinese characters to Paris, come on, we love the French, but seriously, Chinese people living the French life, tell me that's not an interesting East meets West vat of material for someone like Chris Tucker? Especially since we're all soooo tired of movies where America's the only west the East has ever met. All I'm saying is; ...

    Jackie Chan is Back and still swinging in Rush Hour 3

    The Chinese Triads have a secret to keep. Jackie and Tucker set out to Paris to find what the secret is. This forms the pin-point juncture of the movie surrounding which the plot revolves. Fun Packed, with a large chunk of recycled jokes with too little of Jackie Chan action , thats what I felt of the movie from a totally neutral perspective.But being a Jackie Chan fan that I am , the movie is an entertainer with loads of fun n chicks. Rush hour 3 evolves on predictable lines ,but still entertainment quotient remains pretty high throughout. The on screen chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker is simply rocking . But for an avid Jackie fan like me nothing pains more than a movie , with him in the rolls and yet , not having the traditional breathtaking Jackie Stunts. But for a man ...

    Rush Hour 3

    Familiar, very likeable characters get themselves into tight spots facing off against the bad guys, but in the end, good triumphs. Predictible, but reassuring. All in all, a fun movie, plenty of action.. the kind of movie I can watch with my son. Not too many surprises and you don't have to think hard, quite entertaining and an easy way to spend an evening. My 14 year old thought it was great. One of the funniest scenes, in my opinion, was the "I am U" scene. The outtakes at the end of each of these movies are really funny too. For some reason I didn't feel the flow of this movie was as good as the first two, but it was still very enjoyable. I purchased it as it was third in the series and i have the first two.

    Our Take On Rush Hour 3 DVD

    I make sure to at least rent each Jackie Chan Film that comes out on DVD if we don't see it in the theaters first. This third film DVD in the Rush Hour Trilogy unfortunately does not have any additional features worth buying the DVD for, UNLESS you place it in your PC or laptop. Even then, a lot of it is downloads and ads for other movies that the picture company has for sale or is upcoming in the theaters. So... the only thing going for this DVD IOHO is the film. This is the worst of the three films unfortunately. The first 2/3 of the film feels forced, inserting gags that aren't really funny etc. The final 1/3 of the film finally brings back what attracted us to the first two films. However by that time, the mainstream viewing public is probably bored... Sad, because we really ...

    Savor the Rush!

    The third in the Rush Hour series, the full screen DVD was a long awaited addition to my film library! Once again, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker team up for a terrific comedy-action adventure. The camaraderie between the two stars is palpable, making Tucker and Chan the perfect screen team. In this outing, Lee (Chan) and Carter (Tucker) take on the Chinese Triad, and their closely guarded secret, the Shy Shen. Their quest for the elusive Shy Shen takes them to Paris. I admit it: I love the two stars, and really had a great time watching this film! I hope you will laugh as hard as I had! If you love to laugh AND love action films, this one is for you!
