  • A fond rememberance

    Many years ago, my husband and I ate at this restaurant while on a trip to Savannah. It was a memorable meal. When I saw this cookbook I had to add it to my collection. Reading the book is like talking with an old friend and getting sage advise. The recipes are easy to follow and if you get the fresh ingredients, the result is marvelous. No matter how good the recipe may be, I still am unable to wrap my taste buds around Okra but for those of you who like it...I am sure you will be happy. For the rest of us there are lots of fun recipes to try out on family and friends. You'll be elevated to a higher level in the cooking pecking order with these recipes.

    The recipes are great. Try the pork loin stuffed with dried apricots and walnuts (or pistachios).
