Inheriting the fine rendering and outstanding quality of the Leica Elmar lens, this easy-to-carry camera delivers beautiful images any time, any place.The DMC-ZS5 features a powerful 12x optical zoom lens.     Excellent all purpose camera, with great lense latitude. Plenty of great menu settings for all lighting situations.

    Very versatile camera, great array of menu settings for all types of lighting conditions and wide latitude with lens. Good buy for the money. Also a very discrete camera, the size is deceptive for the range that it is capable of. Good file sizes for 11x 14 prints and sometimes larger.

    Easy to use---compact, and I loved my old one..in fact...I am taking 2 of the same to Europe again...this is my back up, just in case something fails on the first one! A+++++

    Easy to learn and use, great vids & pics! Just love it, 5 stars all the way

    I give this camera a 5 star for the following reasons: Easy to use and understand and takes great photos and videos. I am not even a camera buff and this was my first digital camera, all I did to learn it was start playing with it and clicking buttons for about an hour and it was ready to go. Some indoor photos might need to be manually controlled to get them just right but the Intelligent feature gets it right to my complete satisfaction about 95% of the time. Videos are amazing in their clarity, maybe even better than the photos with no zoom noise and it autofocuses as you zoom in and out. There are a lot of features I probably will never use nor care to even learn as I needed just good basic pics and vids and this camera is a dream. Only neg I would say is there is no direct connection ...

    Great performance for the price. Excellent value for money!

    I am completely satisfied with this camera - the menus are intuitive, the startup speed is pretty good, the battery is good, and the pictures it takes are great. The intelligent auto works great if you're too lazy to adjust the settings, but it gives you lots of opportunity to make manual adjustments if you want. I'd gladly recommend it.

    Replacement Travel Camera

    I had one before and lost it on the last trip. Great compact camera with sharp lens and easy to use configuration options that takes great near/far pictures. Good value for the money!
