Raggedy Ann Story book makes a wonderful gift.
The Raggedy Ann book arrived in perfect condition. The stories were written over 100 yrs. ago so the verbiage is a little dated but charming. The illustrations are bright and pretty. Raggedy was a favorite with me as a toddler....I'm now 81. This book is a 1993 reprint of the original stories from 1880-1938 and is complete with its dust jacket. It will be a great gift for my neighbor's-son's child that will arrive shortly. I hope that these young parents will appreciate the history behind this lovely book. Remembering Raggedy Ann
This book by Johnny Gruelle was first introduced to me when I was a little girl who had to have her tonsils taken out. Hospitals can be scary to 5 year olds and my mother knew this and so read to me the story of Raggedy Ann. My father brought what was to become my favorite doll to the hospital to join in my recovery. My original book was well-loved and read many times. I'm sorry to say I don't have it now, but this excellent copy brought tears to my eyes upon arrival. The price was far below the original price, however the condition of the book (like new) was the deciding factor. May many more little boys and girls have the privilege of growing up with the hopes, dreams and adventures of Raggedy Ann.This book by Johnny Gruelle was first introduced to me when I was a little girl who had to have her tonsils taken out. Great old find.
This Raggedy Ann book arrived in excellent condition. I had Raggedy Ann and Andy books as a child and then read my books to my children. Lost along the many years it is a great find to have this book on my shelf again. Great purchase.
