Synopsis
Lisa Lampanelli, who Howard Stern calls "a true original and a brilliant comedy mind," reveals all in Chocolate, Please, a jaw-droppingly hilarious, politically incorrect memoir on everything from relationships, food, and fat to why once you go black, you never go back. The gutter-mouthed, Grammy-nominated comedienne happily dishes on nearly everything-from why all white women should date black men to the virtues of codependency to how to turn a stick of butter into parental love and attention-delightedly skewering all topics with equal fervor, herself included., Lisa Lampanelli, who Howard Stern calls "a true original and a brilliant comedy mind," reveals all in Chocolate, Please , a jaw-droppingly hilarious, politically incorrect memoir on everything from relationships, food, and fat to why once you go black, you never go back. • Super-funny & gives us adults a much-needed break from the world, even for just a few short minutes... a 10+!

My mom is going to be 60 in a few days, but along with my 33 y/o sister, she LOVES L.L., sometimes so much that she'll say some crudely humorous things from the roasts that we all know and love. I haven't read it before (or yet), but I know she will love it. Nearly all of us adults revere L.L. in some way, despite her "Queen of Mean" persona. If you like this comedienne/shock comic, you will really love this book, too. Just know that there will obviously be a significantly large amount of vulgar language and other not-so-kid-friendly things inside its seemingly clean, brand-new pages; keep it away from the little ones, literally! I don't want to go Boston-style terms either, but this book will be wicked ****ah, as long as you can handle the raunchiness of it all. Let me put it another ...
