Product Information

Tetris Plus takes one of the most popular games in history, Tetris, and offers three modes of play as well as an editing mode that allows players to create original puzzles or edit sample stages. The original game by Alexey Pajitnov is presented fully intact in Classic Tetris, while Puzzle mode offers 100 progressively harder stages in five levels set against the labyrinth of Knossos, the Egyptian pyramids, Angkor Wat, the Mayan ruins, and a final mysterious city. The third mode is a two-player competitive version of Puzzle mode that sends cleared lines to the opponent's chamber. Two-player non-competitive play is also available in the Puzzle modes.

Fantastic!
Had this game for PS1, my father and I played it all the time. Over the course of 20 years or so our copy vanished. Now my dad is confined to a wheelchair and gets very bored day to day, so I bought him this to occupy some time. He loved it. After I set it up for him we killed a couple of hours easily just taking turns on puzzles. It was a nice trip down memory lane.

Classic memory building fun for every family.
The Tetris Plus game for Playstation 1 is a classic, fun and very challenging game. Are the graphics good by today’s standards? Probably not, but for nostalgic purposes, they are perfect. My family and I have had so much fun playing this game together. We enjoyed reliving the old memories and made some new ones priceless ones too. I am so happy that I found it!

Best version of tetris ever
This may be the best game ever made. The classic mode of Tetris is challenging and rewarding and perfect for lovers of the simple yet timeless game. Tetris plus also adds a story mode that forces you to think beyond clearing lines but solving more complex puzzles using Tetris blocks and gameplay. And one of the best added features is a VS mode that allows you to battle family and friends in the classic game play. I have played this game for over 100 hours and could play a few hundred more for years to come.This may be the best game ever made. The game came 2 days early which is great. Game case was in good shape. Disc had some wear, but with a little cleaning it was good. Game played very well. I am a very happy customer. Thanks allot.

"Tetris Plus," one of many ideas inspired by the original title game itself, is truly an fairly interesting game; whether you are bored and wish to test your brain on a typical Saturday night while everyone else is clubin', drinkin' or smokin', or if you wish to have an excuse to make a financial wager with your friend(s) knowing that you may be at full risk of losing your allowance money, this 1996/1997 adaption of "Tetris" is just the game for you. Unlike the original title game itself, 'Plus' features three additional game modes normally not in the original, and here they are: 1) This version's central theme is to guide a fairly animated professor towards the goal at the bottom of each level; all you have to do is clear blocks from the screen, or as I like to call it... play Tetris. ... This is the "Puzzle" mode. 2) You get a pretty cool "VS." mode, in which two players - by making combos of doubles, triples and tetrises - must kill the opposing professor as a result of forcing him to the ceiling, or by clearing the blocks on your side allowing the professor to reach the goal at the bottom. 3) The latter, yet weakest, mode of them all is an "edit" mode, where you get to create custom levels in which you may try to beat, or have your friend(s) try to beat. Sure there may be a slight imperfection or two in this classic PS-1 game - particularly the "main menu" music, aside from the rest of it, and the professor saying what sounds like "oooouch" instead of what should be "ouch" when he falls a long distance - but this game is nevertheless a great treat for family and friends... and you of course. Overall, "Tetris Plus" deserves an A- from me; a reasonable grade for a more than reasonable game. -Al
