    Lumix DMC-TZ3-K at a glance

    I bought this camera for my sister. She wanted a camera for several months, read lots of reviews online and decided to go with Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3-K. I had an opportunity to try several cameras out during couple last weeks and got to say that I really think this one was a good choice. It has excellent zoom, lots of modes and settings that seem to do their job, great rubber-like body so you can shoot pics even using one hand. It uses SD or SDHC cards for image storage. Features I liked: * affordable price * 10X optical zoom * image stabilizer * SD or SDHC cards for storage * lots of modes and settings that simply work * good picture and video quality * simple to use * rubber-like body * doesn't require any drivers (at least on win XP) Features I disliked: * poor ...

    A really great camera for every situation

    Panasonic Lumix TZ3 is a small and versatile digital camera. It's very easy to use, the automatic functions are great for beginners and it's long optical zoom (10x) is fantastic. If you are looking for a cheap all-around camera and powerful zoom - TZ3 is your choice. Since it's 2010, TZ3 is a little out-dated in the means of that it's a model from 2007. Don't get me wrong - the camera is great but there just might be better models at the moment. So if you are looking for a new camera for an upcoming vacation or a camera which you can use in the next 3-4 years, you should definitely look for a current model from Canon/Nikon/Fujifilm/Panasonic. I'm still using my TZ3 and it's great. The battery lasts almost all day, the pics turn out quite good even in a full-automatic mode. The preset ...

    ok, but could be a bit better

    what originally attracted me to the camera was the amazing zoom capabilities, and it was the only high zoom camera that didn't look like a baby SLR, which i find to be overly bulky for myself who has small hands.. anyway, i do like the large lcd screen also, as i have never even bothered to use the viewfinder in my old canon camera. the zoom is amazing and image stabilization really makes this camera shine. now for the cons, i'd have to say my least favorite feature about this camera is that the flash is way too bright, especially for macro shots. everything gets washed out and there is no control over flash brightness. also the placement of the dial on top rather than on the side is rather annoying to me. the camera also does not have good audio recording quality when i make videos. on a ...

    Perfect travel companion camera

    Panasonic is one of the pioneers of the large optical zoom lens in a small camera form package. The TZ "Travel Zoom" series from the TZ1 to the latest TZ7, now changed to the ZS series all have one thing in common, an excellent range lens, from a nice 28mm wide angle to a 280mm telephoto with the 10x optical zoom. When purchasing any camera, the larger the optical zoom the better. This is "real" zooming power without sacrificing picture resolution or quality. Digital zoom only magnifies what you've already achieved optically, so your picture quality will suffer. The TZ3 offers acceptable resolution with its 7.2 megapixel sensor. In fact, the camera boasts a higher resolution, but reserves it when shooting at a 16x9 format. The camera gives you true 7.2 resolution in this wide angle ...

    Wonderful images

    I bought several cameras Panasonic TZ3 for my family. She is fantastic. Zoon is powerful; Leica lens with a 28mm - 280mm, which produces wonderful images. All very easy to use, even by children. It has the important feature of the image stabilizer, which reduces the risk of photos train. For its price and its size could not want more resources, and therefore I have nothing to complain.
