    good buy for the price

    i bought this to replace my trusty olympus camera which i found the features very similiar to use as far as the controls go. love the color!! This is very easy to use, has a lot of new features that you will need to read the manual to learn how to use if your used to a point and shoot camera. Takes very clear photos, have not used the video camera yet bu am looking forward to it. Takes the standard SD card which is nice and has the pop up flash. The pics comes out in the larger format for megapixels so if your sending them in am email to someone, it will take a while or send them only a couple at a time. Otherwise, havent used most of the features on this camera yet but it is a keeper!! I bought this for 349.00 in a bundle which was well worth the price with an extra 2 year nikon ...

    Excellent camera

    I got this camera for my son (15) as he is interested in photography. I've owned a CoolPix before, but this is their performance line, and is for more advanced users. My son was able to figure out most of the controls on his own, and is using the instruction book to learn to fine-tune the settings. So far it's been a great "advanced beginner" level camera, and I'm confident it will serve him well as he learns photography.

    Well made product! Excellent price... I'm hooked!

    I've been a devoted Kodak user until I bought this Nikon Coolpix camera. While I still like Kodak and some of the features on my last camera this Nikon is a really sweet camera. Easy to use.I bought the bundle available at the time and it was well worth it. I was looking for a "Super Zoom" and this one was on the money. The photos are nice and clear and the zoom is remarkable! I'm still learning about all the features one this camera. I'm happy with this camera!

    Nikon saving money by making very small lightweight camera.

    I have not used a Nikon camera in a long time and at that time they were work horses F2 etc. You can imagine my disappointment in this tinkertoy. However compared to the Canon G6 it has a huge zoom ability and is very light weight, movies are reviewed as awesome. There is no hot shoe which the Canon G6-12 have. For this reason I am trying to return it but so far have not rec'd the call tag.
