Bleach: Substitute Soul Reaper Arc Brief Review
A favorite series of mine; and this first season does not disappoint. The story is so unique, engaging, and well crafted; with excellent depth and nuance. A wonderful start to the story that effortlessly entwines compelling world building with exciting action. The story is well-paced, an important detail for a first season. The product was in excellent condition; this first box set has wonderful art and a two-sided poster that showcases Ichigo's tough fighting stance on one side and production art on the other. I highly recommend for any Bleach fan, or someone wanting to collect.A favorite series of mine; and this first season does not disappoint. Bleach Season 1 DVD
Bleach is widely considered one of the best anime of our time. Some of the good points are amazing art, great characters and epic battles; although it is pretty slow paced to start and I personally thought it took a few episodes into the series to pick up and really become great. Towards the middle and end of it is when it really started to show some of the aspects that make Bleach great and unique. If you like anime I would highly recommend it if you haven't seen itBleach is widely considered one of the best anime of our time. This is the one that started it all. This Bleach box set contains all 20 episodes from The Substitute arc, which also means it contains the first 20 episodes of Bleach period. From the moment Ichigo first meets Rukia and gains his Soul Reaper powers to when he, Uryu, Chad, Orihime, and kitty Yoruichi enter the Dangai Precipice World on their way to the Soul Society, you will get it all. For the uninitiated, Bleach follows around Ichigo Kurosaki, a seemingly ordinary teenager who also possesses the ability to see spirits. He crosses paths with Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper, and when she is injured in a battle with a Hollow (the primary purpose of Soul Reapers being to cleanse the evil Hollow spirits and prevent them from devouring human souls), he is forced to become a Soul Reaper ... This is the one that started it all. This Bleach box set contains all 20 episodes from The Substitute arc, which also means it contains the first 20 episodes of Bleach period. This set is in both English and Japanese with subtitles, and comes with neato bonuses like a poster and a keychain for those who buy the limited edition version. However, if you are buying this used, then expect the extra goodies to be poached and long gone before you ever get them unless the seller is very generous. But do you really need the goodies? After all, this is Bleach and the early ones before the Bount arc at that. Isn't that good enough?

Great and heroic characters, who fight for ultimate justice in order to get back to living normal lives. This show really covers a lot of ground with each moment.

Perfect! Nothing wrong with any discs.
When i opened it i checked all the discs for scratches and damage. I didnt notice anything worth making a fuss over, secured great and all discs were in the correct places.
