Product Information

This high-action flight movie centers on a team of three sexy stealth bomber pilots who are forced to fly with EDI (Extreme Deep Invader), a computer-manned prototype plane that specializes in extra-precision bombing. The brainchild of a Bill Gates-esque wunderkind (Richard Roxburgh), EDI has the ability to learn at a fantastic rate, talks like HAL from 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY, and likes to listen to hard rock before going into combat. Before long, a freak accident causes it to question authority and launch an attack on Russia. W.D. Richter's script probes big issues involving man, machine, and the nuclear fate of the free world (Read: DR. STRANGELOVE meets THE TERMINATOR). But this is also an action thrill ride from Rob Cohen--the man responsible for THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS and XXX--replete with some truly tremendous explosions and speeds that outdo any mph records set in Cohen's past ouevre. Jessica Biel (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) is tough and surprisingly believable as the token female fighter pilot, while Jamie Foxx (RAY) makes a fine wingman to the daredevil squadron leader played by Josh Lucas. Sam Shephard (THE RIGHT STUFF) is their commanding officer, with Joe Morton playing a shady politician.

    Stealth - Top Gun Replacement for SciFi Guys

    Stealth is an action packed film about 3 US Naval pilots and their wild adventures. The 3 person team features Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx, and Josh Lucas. The team pilots the Amazing Talon aircraft that is capable of some breath-taking maneuvers. However these Talons are quickly overshadowed. The team of pilots are first deployed to an aircraft carrier where they are joined by an unmanned aircraft called a UCAV (unmanned combat aerial vehicle) the focal point of the film. The aircraft features a pulse detonation engine with twin ramjet turbos, has aero-elastic wings and runs on catalyzed methane. This movie reminds me a lot of Top Gun in a fond, nostalgic, kind of way. Except this time they made the movie for guys who love science fiction and Jessica Biel instead of ladies who loved ...

    Good title

    It had good acting and resemble some values the military holds close. Story line was a little weak for me, but I had to add to my Top Gun genre.

    EPIC

    I got one word to scrap this movie epic this movie is Barry amazing as a very intricate story I will give away any details just case the person who buys this as an ever seen the movie but it is very good and his story is similar to ace combat if you're a fan at that game series if you're not I'll give you a little rundown it's a sensually like this movie all latest movies based on real world and Ace, is based and strange real basically an altered or possibly brought up by an apocalyptic event, about stored for it but this movie is sort of like that it is based in the future and I will tell you much about the story I only tell you it's a very epic movie and if you're a jet fan like me you are going to love this movie I would recommend to anyone who loves epic futuristic ace combat style ...

    Not as advertised

    This movie was great precisely BECAUSE it did not turn out to be how the previews depicted it. I went in expected a few hours of aerial dogfights and stuff, having the humans eventually take down the computer guided airplane, but the plot delved into depth so much more and took two spins that I never even imagined. I obviously can't go into them here, but trust me, you'll be surprised (in a good way). The plot twists here are great, and you leave the movie with one of those "good" feelings that you expect from a movie like this. This was a great movie released at a bad time. It did not deserve the bad reviews that it got in the press.
