Not as good as I'd hoped... bad quality.
Did not work as promised. I had a 5 gal tank with a Betta fish in it. The heater worked fine the first few days and suddenly turned off allowing the temp to drop below 75 killing my fish. My room isn't that cold the rank wasn't near doors or Windows. There is no way to know if it's working except to take it out the water and see if it's warm. It felt warm when I would do this but not warm enough to properly and securely heat a 5gal. This would work for a smaller tank and id advise regular temp checks with a thermometer and to use this temporarily. Maybe good for Fish Bowl
I put this heater into a 3 gallon tank and it didn't seem to make much of a difference, really. Maybe a couple of degrees. So I ordered an Aqueon 10w heater and between the two of them, the temps are where they should be. I was told a 15w would be too hot, yet 17.5 total watts is barely doing the job! Perhaps, it's the brand?

Originally it brought water to 79 degrees. When I turned on the pump and room temperature fell to 69-70 it was not able to keep up. Water temperature went down to as low as 73. I can see it being good for 1-3 gallon maybe but 5 gallon is OK only when room temperature is 72-73. Other than that it looks very simple and pretty solid. Now I have it pulled up out of sand so my betta is staying close to it. Waiting for new heater to arrive.Originally it brought water to 79 degrees. good enough, watch temp to make sure not too hot
Good for small tanks, but still finding out if it regulates temp well.so far it brought my betta tank from 73 up to 78. Hopefully no higher. All in al its good enough.

It's a really good product ♡
I have one betta fish in a gallon bowl and it's perfect for him. I have checked the temp of the water several time a day to make sure it's working properly and this is a great product.
