Kodak EasyShare DX 3500 - great 1st camer
I bought this camera for my 11-year old daughter for her birthday. She badly wanted a digital camera, but we did not want to get her a new one. This camera has been perfect. It provides good quality for a great price for a used digital camera. Be aware of batteries, though. The seller provided regular alkaline batteries (a pleasant extra), but it doesn't work on alkaline batteries. It malfunctions. I figured it out, and my daughter loves it. Best thing I like: cheap and easy, but good quality. It's very simple (no zoom), but great for a first camera. Thing I don't like: it doesn't have a USB or other port for getting the pics off. Apparently reliable, they remain available in numbers and sell for a tiny fraction of their original cost by end users who have upgraded to hi definition units. When they have the docking station they are practically always ready to take pictures or transfer them to a computer. The good on-board LCD menu system is very simple and very limited. You can't have the one without the other. Finally, because they are Kodak they have a solid reputation for quality and reliability - and the DX 3500 is not an exception. When it comes to picture quality and a choice for definition the camera falls along the wayside against today's new ... This older digital docking camera sold for $400 new at its inception. If it's low cost, ease and Internet type picture quality you need then these guys are a perfect choice.

This is a great camera for a great price. It's a little chunky so it's really good for younger kids. And it's really simple to use. One click action and easy one touch buttons. Does not have all of the more in depth features but still a great camera for first time digital camera users.

This is a nice camera. It's probably the functional equivalent of the old Brownie and Instamatic cameras, but there's nothing wrong with that. It takes pleasing photos, that make nice "shapshot" prints (I wouldn't go beyond a 5"x7" typically), and would be great for a digital photo album. Ignore the "digital zoom." It doesn't really mean anything. Use NiCad's, NiMH, or Kodak's lithium battery. Great take-it-anywhere, fun, inexpensive camera.This is a nice camera. Great Little Camera
I love this camera! It is very easy to use and ultra reliable. It may not be the best camera out there, but it takes decent pictures, the battery last for a long time and it does not have so many functions that it is impossible to figure out. That also means there is less chance of it breaking. The Kodak software for loading pictures to your pc is easy to use, and it allows you to save and edit pictures in a simple manner. Overall, I think this is a great everday camera, that just about anyone can use and figure out. Also, for the price you can find one for on ebay, is a fraction of what you would expect to pay if purchased new. I highly reccomend this camera for anyone who wants decent pictures without the complications of some of other more technical cameras out there on the market.I love this camera!
