Tropix for DS
I am an adult player got this game because I had played the PC version and really enjoyed it. The DS version is exactly the same, so I was very happy about that. The mini-games are basically mindless and a great way to "waste" some time. While being basically easy, they have different levels to work through in order to increase the difficulty. The object is to collect "sand dollars" that you can use to make the beach area that you are currently visiting to be more comfortable. You can buy drinks or toys or chairs for the monkey and crab to sit on while you are visiting that beach. When you have bought all the food/shelter/fun for that beach, then your object is to collect enough sand dollars from the games in order to buy your travel to the next beach where you do ... Nintendo ds Tropix
This game was a nice surprise. Another reviewer already told the basics of the game.... but I'll add that I personally enjoy playing the sodoku and making words out of the bubble letters. My children enjoy watching me do the coconut bowling and they like the game where the monkey has to swing from tree to tree. The minigames have multiple difficulty levels, so it is appropriate for different ages. It is not an exciting mission based game, but as someone else said.... having multiple games to choose from and island music to go along with them, makes Tropix fun to play when you're looking to pass the time.This game was a nice surprise. Nintendo DS Game Tropix
This game is easy to pick up on, and fun to play. Although it is simple to learn it is still quite challenging at times and addicting. I enjoy something that can be picked up and played for short periods of time or for hours and Tropix is that game!

great games, large variety easy to play great fun
looking for a game I could understand and enjoy playing. This is it. Plus large variety and fun with monkey buying supplies. Love it. Also my grandsons love to play it too.

Great Product for the money.
I purchased the product for my grandsone because he wanted one so he could play. My grandson enjoys playing the game. It compares about the same as other games for his age group.
