Worth Watching-Feel sort of shortchanged us!
I (we, as in family) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Shrek, and all the cast actually. This III movie, unfortunately, left alot to be desired. The story dragged a little, and Shrek was without Fiona most of the movie. The little Shrek babies you got to see in the previews, was basically all you got to see of them in the movie as well, a little more, but not much. I feel, like Hollywood, they figured, the first 2 were a smash at the box office, and knew no matter what they put into it, people would "pay" to see it. It lacked that wonderful warm feeling you get from watching "Shrek". I feel they could've done much better~this again is just my opinion, which I believe what this review is about, for anyone wondering, it is worth seeing once, but, I think you'll agree with ... The kids really liked it. For the adults, it was "ok"
Out of the three Shrek Movies, we would rate Shrek The Third as AVERAGE. The kids really enjoyed it and found it amusing, and the adults in the house found it a little interesting with some good laughs here and there. Out of the three, we would definitely prefer the first two. The third one just didnt quite do it for us. Its a good RENTAL though. Im not really sure if its worth buying. Shrek The Third introduces 3 Baby Shreks at the end, which was kind of cute. We hope that you found this Review HELPFUL. If so, please CLICK YES below! Inferior to the First 2 Shrek Movies
My 3 year old son loves the first 2 Shrek Movies - especially the 2nd one - and we caught Shrek the Halls on TV as a Christmas special, and he loved that too. So, I decided to purchase Shrek the Third to complete our collection, and although the main characters are still entertaining for the most part, the additional characters - including Merlin and Artie (King Arthur) just seem like they were thrown in. The story line doesn't flow and with the absence of the Fairy Godmother, there aren't any big musical numbers - which is what keeps my son's attention. My Shrek the Third review.
Shrek the Third is okay, but not as good as the previous Shrek movies. I’m still going to keep the movie.

Shrek The Third
This was a gift to my grandchildren. They said they loved it. They also requested it. I saw Shrek 1 and it was also a beautiful little animated movie. I think all versions of Shrek are loved by all the children because they have such a sweet story to them. The dubbed voices by movie stars is done so well that it makes the characters believable. I hope a Shrek 4 is in the making. I know my grandchildren will want me to buy it for them. All areas of the movie was done well. Special Effects, sound, Animation, Directing, Editing, everything that it takes to make a movie, was done to perfection. TrishaThis was a gift to my grandchildren. They said they loved it. They also requested it. I saw Shrek 1 and it was also a beautiful little animated movie. I think all versions of Shrek are loved by all the children because they have such a sweet story to them.
