    Salute to the U.S. Air Force and America!

    Exciting plot. Tough scripts from the leading characters of both the Americans and the enemy country, but not to strong for younger viewers. Makes me want to stand up and cheer for the U.S. Air Force and America!

    iron eagle is a classic

    this is one of the 80's classic that kinda went under the radar thanks to top gun, it's just as cool and has a awsome soundtrack that really makes the movie.. saw when i was younger and was cool then and still cool 20 sumthing years later.. too bad they have forgot how to make cool movies with killer soundtracks that young people today can look back on and remember with fond memories like some of us. this movie truely catches the 80's look, feel, music, all around cool fun without tons of sex and violence in todays movies... let's all get a hot tub time machine and go back to the music and feel good of the 80's !!!

    Great film

    This is an entertaining film that I used to own on VHS. It is a very imaginative yarn about these Air Force teens that pretty well have the base wired and can get a hold of most everything they need. When one of the teens dad has his plane shot down and no one was going to go in and rescue him, his son and Chappy devised a scheme to go in and get him.

    Extremely Entertaining

    This movie has a good sound track and a very good story line. It is a classic for it's time. has great character interaction and good action. Very good movie. job3

    Ready for some Cold War patriotism propaganda?

    I don't know what I like most about this movie. Perhaps it's the fine acting by Jason Gedrick, or the storyline about a teenager and his friends stealing two fighter jets from an Air Force Base. Anyone else miss the lax security of the 1980's? Maybe it's watching Louis Gossett Jr. shake his rump to some old R&B tunes while plotting an attack mission against a Middle East country with some teenagers, whom he dubs the finest crew ever assembled. No, wait, it has to be when Doug straps a tape recorder to his leg and flies the Snake and cleverly outraces Nacher before crash landing his sabotaged plane. YEAH!!!!
