    Birds of Prey - The Complete Series (2008, DVD)

    I bought this DVD because I am a huge, life-time comic book fan. I have been reading Birds of Prey comics since they first came out and loved them. Oracle, who used to be Batgirl, I was reading about since the early sixties. Same thing with Black Canary and The Huntress. When I heard about the T.V. show.... I had to watch it!! I loved it!! NO BRAINER!! When the DVD came out...........HAVE TO BUY!!!! Also.....NO BRAINER!!!! This set contains four discs that comprise the entire series. Also included is the complete web series "Gotham Girls" featuring seasons one through three. The episodes of 'Birds of Prey' consist of 13 episodes including the 'Bonus unaired pilot.'     Complete series and then some

    This is the complete BIRDS OF PREY television series. The show only lasted one season. This four disc set has no liner notes or booklet, but includes official versions of BOTH "aired" and "unaired" pilot episodes. (The role of "Dr. Harleen Quinzel" is played by two different actresses.) The music on this DVD set is different from the broadcast television versions of the episodes. (These DVD episodes even feature a completely different series theme song.) In addition to the BoP episodes, the set includes the complete (three season) set of ''Gotham Girls'' flash-comic. These short flash-comic "webisodes" only contain the features themselves. (When the flash-comics were originally available online they included little games to play while the comic was loading and season three ...

    Great Great Great I wish there was more of it !!!!!!!!!

    I loved the show, I watched the TV show when it was on years ago. I wish they had made more of this show then and I still wish that now. You never know what was going to happen and you are all was on the edge of your seat to see what would happen next. I was so happy to see this had come out in DVD and could not weight to get it, If they had made more of it I would buy it in a heart beat. They need to make more show like this one. I loved it and the only thing that I disliked about it was that there was not more of it. This was a show that was Funny, Sad and made you think because it put you on the edge of your seat to see what would happen next and that could be anything and you find your self wanting to see what would happen to the people in the story because to come to care what would ...

    This is way better than the Birds of Prey movie and should still be on the air

    It was nice to find a "complete series" package that actually had all of the discs in good condition. I have written reviews about this series in other places. You can find a detailed one at interesting authors dot com slash blog. Having watched this series several times the only reason I can think of that it got cancelled is the fact the network put it up against "The West Wing" at the peak of that show's popularity.

    Great Series!

    Birds Of Prey was a great series and even though it had high ratings the show was cancelled. The series follows Helena Kyle(the Huntress)who is the the daughter of Batman and Catwomen in her pursuit of justice on the streets of Gotham.After Catwomen is murdered,Barbara Gorden(Batgirl)takes her in. Barbara Gordon (Oracle)was Batgirl until the Joker shot her and paralysed her from the waist down.She guides The Huntress through Gotham from the coolest tech center high above the city. Sadly,only 13 episodes of this series were ever made but what a ride!
