Product Information

A detective in your department uncovered an illegal gun-running operation and was able to trace it back to a powerful crime syndicate. He had compiled a large amount of evidence and was ready to have them taken down but he was discovered and asassinated. Some of the evidence managed to make its way back to headquarters and a special task force was put on the case. <br><br>In Virtua Cop you take on the role of a police officer tracking down these illegal gun-runners. Grab your Stunner gun or control pad and start shooting anything that moves, except for civilians of course. Three stages are featured: Arms Black Market, Underground Weapon Storage, and Gang Headquarters. Each stage features three scenes and various power-ups, such as a machine gun, rifle, magnum, and shotgun. <br><br>The bad guys come at you from all angles as they pop out from behind such items as hills, buildings, and construction equipment. Shoot and reload as fast as you can; pause for a second and you won't last long. Players can go it alone or with a friend. Both players have a choice of using either a light gun or a control pad in their pursuit of justice.

Virtua Cop sega must own
The Good :) The music in this game was done real well i liked it and it went well with the game. Using the gun brings Arcade action home for a cheap price. The game it self is cheap and can even be bought with the gun right here on ebay. 3 different stages all are fun to play bosses at the end & more fun with 2 gun. The game it self looks good on the saturn. The Bad :( only 3 stages kinda short but fun. that it. Some times finding a gun for this game at a good price can be a pain in the ass. Who should buy this: Some one who love arcade shooting games this is one you should own. Why I bought this: Got this 3 free games but would have bought it if I did not get it that way. This game is mad fun any one can play this game I am a big fan of shooting games that why i own this ... It's simply fun!
Virtua Cop is simply fun even playing it at home! The concept is simple and fast so it does not need great graphics. It's definately better than other 3D first person shooting games on the Sega Saturn. If you have another player and a stunner (gun), you will have maximum enjoyment! If you don't have a gun? No problem! Try playing this game with a Sega Saturn Virtual Stick. Set the "turbo" option on the shot button and you will be able to kill every single enemy on the screen! Although there are only 3 levels, the fast and smooth gameplay will probably make you come back for more. If you are looking for a cheap and enjoyable game, look no further. Pick up Virtua Cop! Plays great with the light gun if you have a CRT TV.
Pro: Plays like the arcade original if you own a light gun. Con: Requires a CRT TV if you want to play with the light gun; graphics are a bit inferior compared to the original arcade.
