    At this price, everyone should have one.

    The product is technologically cool. This particular lower priced "wired" RING only uses the doorbell supplied power (15-20v) to power itself. Providing motion detection and time stamped video of any object that comes within the area or parameter you can set up from the app. So your old doorbell chime is disabled. If you want a chime as well as audio notification from your phone you need to order the wireless one and replace your old wall chime. Installation varies but is basically easy.

    Ring vs Hello

    Ring wired vs Google Hello. Both are amazing products. Ring is a better value. Google hello can cost 5 times as much as the ring wired. Installation is simple. Ring's QR code is read better by camera phone. Google Hello response time is faster and the audio is outstanding. If you are on wifi ring is quick. ring has choppy audio. Ring can be installed anywhere with optional 16v ac wall power transformer. I installed my ring on a sling glass door. The ring is almost universally recognized as a video doorbell. the Google hello is well build but people still do not know it is a doorbell that needs to be pressed. I like the ring and wish it was wifi 5G compatible (it is only 2.4G compatible) which means that our microwave interferes with the signal. We had a battery Ring doorbell and the wired ...

    Video doorbell

    This would be 5 stars a couple years ago , but technology has advanced so much . Do yourself a favor spend a few more bucks and get the latest version . I cheaper out ( and for like maybe 10 bucks ) Never again , next time I will get the newer version. ( better quality and more features )

    Great product, low price.

    Great doorbell camera, very low price compare to other model of same brand. It's wired and works good with existing doorbell wiring. Always have power, no low batt and no changing batt.

    Don't Like Two Doorbells, One Is A Dummy

    I think it should really be easy for Ring to design it to work with existing door bell. It is just a matter of opening/closing a sw! But no, you have to buy a new Ring door bell. I would have design into the Ring door bell and charged more accordingly. Now I am always looking at two door bells in my home and don't like it.
