Great, inexpensive sound - perfect for my convertible
Not quite an 'Excellent' rating, but a real strong 'Good'. I bought these to replace deteriorated front door speakers in a 97 Jag convertible. I wanted something relatively inexpensive that could be played loud when the top's down. I put the 6.5" speakers in the original door holes (which were only 6", but a 1/2" spacer between the speaker and the door gave me a perfect fit). The crossovers fit easily inside the door and I mounted them with sticky velcro. I removed the tweeter elements from the cases and they just fit in the mounting holes in the A-pillar where Jag puts tweeters for their premium sound system. These aren't audiophile grade speakers, but they sound great in the convertible. I'm able to turn them up rather loud to overcome ... Not quite an 'Excellent' rating, but a real strong 'Good'. There's a slight lack of clarity with some songs on some radio stations, which is why they didn't get an 'Excellent' rating. CD's, however, do sound much better than the radio. The crossovers do a good job separating the highs and the lows, and I was so impressed with the sound (at this price), I replaced the rear speakers with a set of Pyle 6x9 8 ways (PLG69.8). As a system, I get great sound from the standard radio and CD changer. I replaced all four original worn speakers and added two tweeters for less than the price of a single replacement speaker from the dealer.

Good stock replacement but defiently want to get a amp to them especially if running a cheap radio they may be cheap but they need some power to really come. Alive . the woofers are fairly beefy love the look of the crossover i mounted them on the door panel for a nice look for the money its.worth purchasing

Good sounding speakers
The speakers and crossovers work very well..I’m running them without an amp at the moment..the reason I gave it only 2 stars is because it came with no mounting hardware for Tweeters at all..had to fab my own and no screws or clips for the kids..other than that the speakers are definitely a good quality for the price

Amazing price, great sound quality & easy to mount. What else you need?
These are one of the best speakers money can buy. Pair them up with Pyle PLG69.3 Rear speakers with a decent after market headunit and enjoy the sound quality. I installed them in my 02 Accord and the fitment was great, just had to use a mounting ring. For about a week, they didnt have much bass but after they were broken-in, the bass and overall sound improved. Spend more money
Spend a little more money and buy quality product. The mounting hardware was not even in the box for the tweeters. Once put together it sounded very scratchy like something was blown. Not impressed at all. I wish I had better things to say.
