Watching this was bloody murder!
When a horror movie is so bad you actually laugh throughought many parts, is that a good thing? It might be. At least you found a way to enjoy the movie, even if it wasn't in the director's intended way. At least it wasn't a TOTAL waste of time, and you'll have something to talk about after the movie ends. There are several inconsistancies and poor acting from beginning to end. My favorites were when the girl seemed to purposely drop her towel when she was being chased, and also when she fell down and landed on her back, her scrapes were on the front of her knees. Also, you gotta love that boat oar that was obviously added in after the scene was recorded. Makes me wonder if anyone actually checked for things like this before releasing this to the public. Not That Bad At All
Bloody Murder,a direct to video and DVD movie released in 2000 is a movie that really is not as bad as it's critics said it is.While it may be a rehashed mix of two other genre flicks,such as Friday The 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(even though it is only a little represented by a chainsaw on the cover),it is still a fun movie and a movie that truly delivers the goods if you want a good Saturday night horror movie and if you are a fan of slasher flicks.The point is that it does deliver and does not disappoint.There is also plenty of gore galore,plenty of slashings and chock full of teenagers who want to play games and get into trouble.The movie's main villian named Trevor Moorehouse is a legend in the parts of the country where this is set and is a part of this game of hide and seek ... Overall,a fun movie worthy of the term slasher flick and a must see for any fan of the horror and slasher genres.Bloody Murder truly delivers without being dull and it is a movie experience to enjoy again and again.
