Product Information

Designed to teach young girls about the importance of individuality, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses is the story of Genevieve and her multitude of sisters who must save their father from poison and their kingdom from the dictatorship of Duchess Rowena. Thinking the girls need training in proper princess practicum, the king invites his cousin Rowena to stay and teach the 12 dancing princesses how to act like ladies. Instead of helping, that old biddy Rowena forbids any form of singing and dancing, and locks the girls away in hidden rooms around the castle. Playing as Genevieve, you will explore the castle and grounds to find the missing sisters and even some secret treasure.

    Great game for girls!

    This game is a favorite with both of my daughters ages 9 and 7 years old. They love this game, it is simple for them to get the hang of, and has beautiful scenery quite a bit like the barbie movies. Nothing you would be concerned that your child is viewing. They have had alot of fun with this game, they don't constantly call me in to help them figure out what to do since it is easy for them to follow. Alot of fun for girls...they love that they can choose dance moves for each princess and create their own style for the games end dance :) A great must have game for girls :)

    FOUR YEAR OLDS FIRST PS2 GAME!

    THIS IS MY FOUR YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS FIRST PLAYSTATION GAME AND SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! AS A LONG TIME GAMER I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT THE CAMERA/VIEW THAT FOLLOWS THE PRINCESS SOMETIMES GETS CONFUSING! AS THE CHARACTER TURNS THE CAMERA VIEW WILL AUTOMATICALLY FOLLOW AND SOMETIMES CONFUSE THE PLAYER, HARD TO EXPLAIN BUT YOU CAN GET INTO A CORNER AND NOT BE ABLE TO SEE WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GOING. ALL AND ALL ITS A GREAT GAME WITH MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES AND SURPRISES AROUND EVERY CORNER, YOU CAN INTERACT WITH THE DIFFERENT ANIMALS ALONG THE WAY WHICH BREAKS UP THE MONOTINY OF RUNNING DOWN A TRAIL LOOKING FOR GEMS. BEAUTIFUL BRIGHT COLORS, WATERFALLS AND ALLAROUND BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS. I WOULD SAY THIS GAME IS FOR 5 YEARS OLD AND UP AND THE CHILD NEEDS ONLY BASIC CONTROLLER SKILLS. ...

    this game is perfect for a little barbie fanl

    i brought this game because my little 4 year olds b-day party was 12 dancing princesses she even had recieved the dvd movie for her b-day, it was such a hit that i decided to get her the game it was the perfect decision because it it wonderful the graphics are outstanding and its very easy for her to play, that is really inportant for her she only turned 4, i have no complaints about this game whats so ever if there was higher then a AA+++ this game would recieve it.

    Dancing with Twila.

    My girls loved this game when they were younger and my youngest had never heard of it. So, I bought this one and she loves it too. I even play it at times.

    Great Barbie Game

    Great game for all that love barbie. Is addtional to have in the barbie collection, has 16 Exciting game levels and four unlockable mini games. Also you get to go around the castle and explore the Throne Room, Golden Pavillion, Towers and Secret Stairways. Excellent game to get if you are a barbie fan. Also this ps2 game is cheaper then most game retail.
