Product Information

David Chase's award-winning HBO crime drama is welcomed into the video game "family" courtesy of publisher THQ. Featuring an original storyline set between the fifth and sixth seasons, The Sopranos casts players in the newly created role of Joey LaRocca, the illegitimate son of the late Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero. Since Bonpensiero "sleeps with the fishes" for being an FBI informant, LaRocca must prove himself to earn the respect of mob boss Tony Soprano, voiced by Emmy-winner James Gandolfini. <br><br>Players will thus become part of Tony's crew, completing missions on behalf of such quirky characters as Paulie Walnuts, Silvio Dante, and Christopher Moltisanti. LaRocca must earn money on collections, intimidate potential rivals, and perform other mob-related tasks using a choice of weapons. As LaRocca moves deeper into Tony Soprano's inner circle, he'll explore notable locales from the television series, including Nuovo Vesuvio's, Satriale's Pork Store, and the Bada Bing! strip club.

    Sopranos fanfiction in the best way possible

    Any fan of the show will love this game. They got all the original voices, and the story is relatively compelling. The gameplay leaves things to be desired. Graphics are maybe good for the time, but have not held up. Neither have the mechanics. But its super fun to play with friends who have watched the show.

    Real cast voices are the game's only strong point.

    The only reason I got some enjoyment out of this game is because I love the show and it was kind of fun to "interact" with Tony, Paulie, Christopher, etc. But the characters don't look close enough to their real-life counterparts to make it seem even remotely like you're part of an episode. Gandolfini and company give the game some personality but you wouldn't expect these guys to spend more than an hour recording voiceovers, do you? The result - the game is very short. In order to make it last a little longer they had AJ's character figure very prominantly. I mean why else would he of all people be giving you "missions" in this game? The game mostly has you fighting, running to another place, and fighting again. You have a gun (pistol or shotgun) in only 2-3 missions because the gunplay ...

    Very clean!

    Very clean. No scratches or damage on disc or case. No interrupted gameplay. Manual included and clean. Game itself is very short but the condition is excellent.

    Sopranos- Road to falling asleep

    I am a big fan of the Sopranos series, but the game was a huge dissapointment. Storyline- 5/10 The storyline is presented poorly. There are only 6 real characters on the game- Christopher, Vito, Tony, Paulie, Silvio, and A.J. All the missions are the same. You beat people up and take there money. Nothing interesting. Audio- 6.5/10 This is game&apos;s strong point. The voices in the game are the real voices from the Sopranos cast members. But the only music is in the Bada Bing, which is almost always the same song, and the sound effects are below average. There is also too much swearing Graphics- 4.5/10 It is easy to recognize the locations and people in th game, but there are still no details whatsoever. Replay Value- 2/10 The game will probably last you 4 or 5 hours, and once ...

    The Sopranos: Road To Respect

    The Graphics are decent. The Soundtrack used in some levels are awesome. But Let me just note, this isn't a free roaming game like Scarface, or Grand Theft Auto San Series. So it's not a very playable game. You don't have too much choice where to go. You can't wander off into New Jersey, only a little bit within a small level. This isn't a difficult game, Violent but not difficult. It's also a very short game. I do like how actual voices from the show are used, and the Bada Bing looks the same. So don't really pay a whole lot for this game because u will be disappointed, but if u can get it for a bargain, then go for it. I used it as a way to kill off some time. This game should of been made longer overall.
