    SIRIUS home satellite receiver

    Having addicted myself to satellite radio service with the purchase of an 'Dodge pickuu a couple years ago, I finally got tired of sitting in the driveway to listen to something of interest that hadn't finished playing as I arrived home. This little receiver was the perfect solution. Setup takes only a matter of minutes, its compact size should allow it to go almost anywhere, & the sound quality is very, very good. The unit comes with everything you need. Holding the line until a service rep answered at SIRIUS took longer than hooking everything up and setting the unit up, actually. That's not a complaint, just an example of how easy the process is.... eBay turned out to be the best place to buy this receiver, after an extensive Google-focused search.     Incredible Sirius home radio

    I purchased this unit to be used as a home satellite radio to replace a portable unit. I was a little hesitant on the price but found one that I felt was reasonable. Well after having this radio for a few weeks now I am glad I purchased it and knowing what I know now I would spend more if I needed it buy another one. First the wood cabinet is really beautiful and looks so great on my nightstand. The sound from the single speaker is better then the sound on the portable unit I replaced that had 2 speakers. ( I do plan on purchasing a speaker unit to bring this up to a true stereo unit.) The alarm works well on it. The clock mode has the digital or "traditional" clock face modes to choose from. The remote only works on Sirius side of the radio. It really is like 2 radios placed in one box. ...

    The Little Radio That Could. Toot-Toot

    Techno aesthetic. Form function. As an audiophile I find this unit a LITTLE gem. A pleasure to listen to and use. Added top firing right speaker , cd player, and sub woofer in addition to hi gain outdoor antenna. This unit gives a full sound and a large foot print for a minimalist size system. The true progression from the KLH 21. I have that also. It holds it's own against Bose 3000. And proton 300. Satellite. Radio is not free. But worth it. Sensitive am /fm tuner. Fits anywhere. Looks great worth the investment for a beginner or advanced listener. If your serious about Sirius consider this radio. I find that. The basic Sirius is plenty. It is not xm.     Tivoli MSATPE SIRIUS Radio Receiver

    Amazing sound in a very small unit. Easy set up.Beautiful craftsmanship, we love the cherry wood cabinetry. It was extremely difficult to find a radio that was top quality, included Satellite radio with AM-FM and in stereo. Unfortunately, Tivoli no longer makes this particular model, but they do make a network ready unit. Unlike most people, apparently, we did not want this for the car, and did not want to be moving a unit back and forth from the car to the house. We wanted a radio for the house. and this is perfect. We have two of the Bose Wave radios, which have been excellent. They will now collect dust most of the time. If you have never heard of or experienced Tivoli, check them out at www.tivoli.com.     Really great addition to Tivoli system!

    I've had a Tivoli system---CD Player, Sub-Woofer, and satellite speaker---for several years. My wife and I also have three Bose Wave Radios. Frankly, the Tivoli simply sounds better plus I really like the real wood finish. I bought the Satellite Rx on eBay to replace the Receiver in my system which is in my home office. We also have Sirius with Xm in our Mercedes and enjoy it greatly. This addition to my home office has been superb! I love CoffeeHouse and the sports channels and it gives me both background music plus active entertainment in my office environment. Love it! All I need to add now is the iPod/iPhone connector that Tivoli has just released!
