An awsome collection of live recordings!, Great price, One of my favorites!
I ordered this set for several reasons; 1) I am a Tom Petty fan from way-back and this has Many of his "live" versions. 2) This set covers a wide span of years of hits. 3) Tom Petty has some songs that he "only" does live... this set has many of those. I enjoy this set every time I play it, from the first song to the last... every song is a winner. The sound quality is even throughout the set as if this was one live concert! Essential American Music
Petty's live anthology is an essential addition to any American music collection. 50+ great songs recorded in high quality audio live in front audiences that knew what you are hopefully about to learn... Tom and The Heartbreakers are one of the prime examples of pure rock and roll.

Live from Tom Petty
Before the pandemic, I checked this recording out at the library. I loved it. Tom Petty has been captured here in great performances. The quality is extremely clear, and with 4 discs, every song you can think of is covered. Mike Campbell extends his leads, showing his talent. This is a must have for Petty fans. I miss that man. Keep him alive with this live performance.

This proves the Heartbreakers are the best band of the last 25 years. A lot of us already knew that from their studio work with Petty and others. There are plenty of Petty classics here, and all of them are good to great. The real treasures for those who already own the studio albums are the covers of other artists, ranging from Them/Van Morrison to Bobby Womack to the Grateful Dead. I was lucky enough to get my copy for $20, but I would still be happy if I had paid $40. The true test was the fact I was able to listen through 4 cds without skipping tracks to get to the good stuff. It's Tom Petty...what else is there to say...!
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers legendary residence as the "House Band" during his 1997 performances at The Fillmore! Fantastic set to own, constantly blasting it while BBQ in the yard. Petty fans need to get this for their collection!
