    Cosy mystery in Los Angeles, with sassy ghost

    If you've read the previous Ghost of Granny Apples mysteries, you'll love this one. If this is your first, you'll still be able to bond with the characters and figure out who's who. Maybe naming sisters Lucy and Rikki Ricardo is a bit cutesy, and it's hard to believe that so many members of a large and previously loving family would suddenly start attacking each other verbally and physically in their place of business. But I've seen stranger names, and hostile families, in real life, so I guess it could happen. The yummy descriptions of Mexican food make up for the sometimes over-the-top family rivalry and corporate backstabbing. Granny herself is a delight, a sassy ghost who is actually one of the more believable parts of the plot.
