I appreciate his comprehensiveness in discussing microphones, mixers, nonlinear systems and equipment for field recording., The book is very thorough from discussions of the physics of audio and acoustics to specific instruction on things such as voiceovers and background music., The book represents one of the best and most comprehensive undergraduate college texts covering all aspects of audio in various media. The book works exceptionally well for this introduction to audio concepts.
