À propos de ce produit

Product Information

Eight year old Kevin MacAllister (Macaulay Culkin) gets lost in the shuffle as his large, upper-middle class suburban family rushes to make a plane that will ferry them off to their Christmas vacation in France; Kevin, having been banished to an attic room as punishment, is subsequently forgotten. At first this is a dream come true, as for the first time in his young life he has no one to answer to but himself, and he takes full advantage of his newfound freedom, eating junk food and watching late-night horror flicks. But when the bumbling Wet Bandits Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) target his house for a robbery, Kevin must step up to defend his home; he sets a maze of booby traps so elaborate that only an eight year old imagination could concoct them. Ultimately, Kevin learns the importance of family during the holidays in a touching reunion with his clan that is highlighted by the film's amazing original score, which was nominated for an Academy Award.

  • Still good BUT over hyped film

I have always enjoyed this film. 20 years later I still say it was over hyped when released & became the hit it did. And, yes the character Kevin was acting bad. Any parent would have grounded him at least. The slap stick comedy was the hit here. Did take enough time to get to the funny parts. COURSE with this large group no 1 thought to set another clock to ensure they got up in time. BUT that would not have lead to the film. Just to point out these things. PUT the passports, tickets in a safe place not on a counter to get milk spilled on them. We do get the points of the film about family. The build to the story on the neighbor after the story Buzz told about him that he was just a lonely man who missed his family. Good to see the late John Candy in here after the 1989 hit ...

  • Home Alone (DVD, 2006)

When Kevin MacAllister's entire family leaves for a vacation in Paris. Banished to an attic room the night before for being bad, he is mistakenly left behind. With the family sitting in different passenger classes on the plane, they were half way to Paris before his mother realized he was not with them. Upon arriving in Paris, she frantically tries to book a return flight, but everything is booked. When trying to call the local police at home, that proves to be a problem too. Back in Chicago, Kevin has spent the morning contemplating his wish from the night before, when he wished that his entire family would disappear and he would never see them again. Wow, what a situation for an eight year old to find himself in! But, making the best of it, eats junk food, watches late night TV. Kevin ...

  • Home Alone (1990) - 2006 release w/ bonus material

This film has been a leading holiday movie since it's release. It makes the charts as one of the top one hundred best films ever. What John Hughes put together is practically priceless. Eight-year-old Kevin McAllister, (Macaully Culkin) is accidentally left home along during Christmas vacation. During the duration of the film, his frantic parents, (John Heard & Maureen O'Hara) are trying to get home before the unthinnkable has happened. Meanwhile the unthinkable has happened with Harry Lime and Marv, (Joe Pesci & Daniel Stern) are the burgalers who attempt to break into the house. Kevin is waiting with a master plan to defeat them!
