A protrusion on the right front makes it possible to use secure one-handed gripping and shooting. The primary mode control dial, with secure detents, is on the top where it's very easy to see and quickly adjust. Additional ... Additional automatic functions are set by another control dial on the back beside the LCD, which can be illuminated for easier veiwing in dim lighting. The viewfinder is large and bright with an operating information display below the focusing screen. It uses a film prewind so the film returns to the cassette as it is exposed for quicker final rewind after the last exposure and minimal fogging of exposed film if accidentally opened. Test exposures were exceptionally sharply detailed with precise focus at different subject distances and focal lengths on the Canon 35-135mm lens used. Subjects indoors in low light levels and outdoors were equally well exposed. The tiny pop-up built-in flash evenly covered the field and produced correct exposures when used as the prime light source and when used as fill outdoors. Although at first glance it appears similar to the Rebel K2, the Canon EOS Rebel T2 has an enhanced selection of powerful features plus expanded shooting modes for more versatility.

Excellent Camera
In the Digital age it is good to see things you can hold in your hands. (photos). I know that you can print very easy photos off the digital cameras but who does? I wanted to see what this camera would do and boy was I glad. The pictures are fantastic. This camera is great. I have bought a telephoto lens and a whole new world has opened up. My son is playing football in his junior year and I hope to capture some really good shots. I beleive that the camera I got in a digital model would have cost many, many times more. I know that the film cameras are going obsolete, but you can still get a great deal on really good ones. My son is only going to here for a few more short years, I did not want to wait until I could afford a nice digital camera. The Canon Rebel T2 is a top on the line ... Canon EOS Rebel T2 w/ 28-90 lens 35mm film camera
This is a great camera. The pictures are very clear in the auto focus mode (the only one I have used thus far). The controls are easy to use. I have a digital camera but bought this one to get better pictures farther away. I will eventually get a digital camera like this one but at first will only buy the body as I am told I can use this same lense on the digital one. canon EOS Rebel T2 Camera
I waited forever to get this camera. I absolutly love it. It takes beautiful pictures. I realize digital is in but I don't think you can beat the canon eos t2 35mm. It fits my hand perfectly not heavy and I have different lenses for distance. The pictures are crystal clear. It has so many wonderful features I still haven't gotton to them yet. There is nothing I don't like about it. I have already gone through 7 rolls of film in the last month.I waited forever to get this camera. I absolutly love it. It takes beautiful pictures. At a modest price, the T2 give you much more control over your photographs than any point-and-shoot 35mm. All functions and settings are easy to learn.
