    Grammar Review

    The book Understanding English Grammar by Martha Kolln and Robert Funk is an excellent read for those interested in the grammar and rules side of the English language. Throughout each chapter, the book provides readers with rules, helpful examples, and exercises for practice. Each chapter also provides diagramming exercises that help reiterate what was learned in each section. Answers to most chapter exercises can be found in the index of the book. During my studies as an English major in college, this book was the text for my Descriptive Grammar Class. This text is an excellent source for English majors, linguists, and people interested in an in-depth study of the English language.
