A Family Anthem but art not what I was expecting
I was very excited to order this book, as our daughter's family introduced us to the video, which they use frequently as a motivator for big projects, cleaning up, or packing for trips. Our eight-year-old grandson knows every word, dance step and motion, and somehow I hoped that the art in the book would match the modern graphics of the book in the introduction of the What Does the Fox Say Dance video. It does not. That the artist is Norwegian for the book of course makes sense since YLVIS is a Norwegian duo, and the art is aptly portrayed on the cover. However, the style is just not as peppy, clean and upbeat as I anticipated from being familiar with the music. That said, I'm sure they will all love having the book, which came promptly, was in perfect condition, and has all the words to ... My two year old daughter was thrilled to have this book after being obsessed with the song. The illustrations are silly and it's fun to make the noises with her.

A very fun read especially if you've seen the clip!
My grandchildren and I had enjoyed the utube clip and watching dancing with the stars 'what does thefox say" . My 18 month old grandson even tried to sing it. Wanted to get the book to remember how much fun we had. The book has great illustrations and colors. They have enjoyed it very much and I'm so glad I bought it for them!
