Very funny & cute movie; just wish it's longer!!^_^ _
I would give this 5 stars out of 5, for I think it deserves it. But I think that it should also be longer and a little bit more complicated. I mean, I love it, but for this to be Tarzan 2, I would kind of hope that it would continue Jade and Tarzan's marriage and perhaps their children? I like that this is about Tarzan's childhood, but it should be longer in length. For this movie has great lessons about being who you are, family and friends, and all those important other things. I'm quite happy that the bad gorillas turn into good gorillas in the end, for who likes deaths in Walt Disney's movies? Definitely watch and buy this if you have children!! Not The Best
This movie was about Tarzan finding love and acceptance from his family and friends. Although the story line had a good concept to it, I found the whole thing to be rather disappointing. Tarzan seemed to feel like an outcast in his own pack, than left only to meet this another monkey who was also an outcast who didn't like Tarzan, but than liked him than went back to hating him, than liking him again. I felt like I was watching a horrible love movie. On top of that it skipped how Tarzan went about going back to feeling accepted by his family and just showed that he was happy. As far as I am concerned he shouldn't have, the only three people that ever looked for him was the elephant, his mom and turk(?)... Just worth it.
I didn’t like the film that much, but I do have a few favorite moments out of it as a fan of Tarzan. And I did like the moments where Kago beats his chest, as only he does it in the film and because I like gorillas too.

Great for the Whole Family
Great story line for kids and great songs. Very entertaining and explores Tarzan's childhood that was skipped in original movie. Very funny characters. A wonderful addition to our family movie collection! I do, however,wish they would have used more of the same voice talent from origingal movie.

Good
This dvd features a song from the original as well as new songs. Not quite as exciting as the original, but insightful and engaging. The kids liked it.
