Installed in a base-model 2012 Tacoma, 4-liter, automatic built in Baja. Ended up not needing the wiring harness, despite some Tacoma websites claiming that the Mexican built Tacomas lacked the ground and ECU wire (which were included with this kit). The switch cover also included with mine was OEM, so the finished installation looks original (kudos!). Pre-wired install required a 10mm wrench (battery disconnect), a Torx #30 that could be turned with a wrench or pliers (airbag bolts), a small flathead screwdriver (prying up the airbag connectors and for popping off the access covers on the sides of the steering wheel), a Phillips screwdriver (to tighten the included mounting screws for the switch), and about 15-minutes of my time. Everything you need included
Includes a new cover to replace the old one that you need to remove and toss because it doesn't have a hole in it for the new switch/lever. This is well worth it because you won't need to use a step bit to drill out the old cover and make a mess out of an otherwise easy install. My toyota was pre-wired, so just needed to remove airbag and installed the switch/lever and, Boom!, instant cruise control! It can be a little tricky (take it to someone if you're not good at this kind of work) to find the release clips for the airbag. Just use a small/bright flashlight to see the release clips. Then 2 screws (included in kit) and a 2-wire short cable (included in kit) is installed. Re-assemble and install the new cover and test and you're done! Works great and very helpful
The cruise works great. Also he is very helpful and responsive if you have issues installing it. I screwed up and put a pin in the wrong hole, turns out I should have quadruple checked it, not just triple. I damaged the connector getting it back out, and he no questions asked sent me a new connector the next day. Once I got that in everything worked great.

The part arrived ahead of schedule, everything I needed was included; the installation was quick and easy! The lower price caused me to be cautious about ordering it initially, but don’t be deceived as the quality, connectivity and operation has proven to be like or better than the original Control stalk.

Good cruise control kit
Everything worked. My installation was more involved since my truck is a manual transmission and nothing was prewired. One criticism is that it needed a little more wire to reach the power source for the clutch disconnect. This was only a minor issue though. Vendors instructions were excellent. Note: There is very little room above the clutch switch. Screwing the switch in with wires attached was time consuming. I found it easier to turn the wires one turn at a time. The switch follows. And I bought stubby wrenches to help secure the clutch switch. Read(& reread)the instructions carefully.Everything worked.
