Serious performance
I've used many good chokes on my shotguns, the pattern master performs the best, the nice clean tight patterns sold me on them......I have now switched to all pattern master...... I have always purchased the no constriction with the 5 raised studs inside the tube and have been extremely pleased, after about 20 cases of kent fasteel thru one the studs did wear smooth and I had to replace the choke, but thats alot of service....... this type the review is on is the new type off pattern master choke with a ring to grab the wad and slow it down just a bit, kinda like the 5 studs did on my other pattern master chokes and then it also has some constriction like a typical choke has........ I'm just building up a new turkey harvesting tool so I haven't shot it yet or patterned it....... but I ... well designed..performs extremly well..good quality
I love this choke it holds a real tight pattern that made it easy to sight in my red dot scope. able to shoot longer distance. After patterning at the range I wouldn't hesitate to take a shot at a long beard at 60yrds I am shooting a 24' barrel with 3 1/2 high velocity federal. I have taken 2 big toms this 2020 turkey season with it, and at 25 to 30yards it really knocks them down. reasonable cost , and looks good on your gun also.I love this choke it holds a real tight pattern that made it easy to sight in my red dot scope. able to shoot longer distance. Patternmaster Code Black Turkey Choke Tube
First off, I would recommend this tube as it does produce good patterns from my Benelli Nova shotgun and is very well machined. Point of aim was unaffected by this tube. However, I do not believe the tube to be a "good value" due to its high price tag. After purchasing this tube for almost $100 I found that it did not reduce felt recoil any more than any other ported tube I have used and as far as patterning with #4's, #5's and #6's 3" turkey loads it did not produce patterns any more uniform or dense than my old standby Undertaker choke tube that cost 1/3 of what the Pateernmaster did. In short it works for me and is well built but overpriced for the level of performance it provides in my particular shotgun. In your shotgun the results could be drastically different as every gun is ...
