Seller took well over a month to deliver (this was in the advert) they item was very significantly different than listing, upon return the seller has yet to refund, I have now escalated with eBay. Dreadful. Buyer beware.

At £18.99 excellent value for money.
I use the Clip+ to listen to podcasts and other downloaded radio broadcasts while walking my dog. It is easy to pause and rewind on the move without taking it out of my pocket (I stuck "pimples" on the pause, rewind and forward wind positions so I could operate it by touch alone) The display is clear and bright enough to read even on a sunny day. Volume is more than adequate provided you set it at "Rest of World" in the Settings. Battery lasts about 10 hours. Sansa don't give instructions about how to get a batch of podcasts to play in seamless succession in a chosen order, but this is possible if you first 'albumise' your podcasts by going into the properties of a highlighted list of podcasts and giving them an album title e.g. 'A' and then making a playlist ('a') in the Clip+. SanDisk Sansa Clip+ is the most bang for the buck you can get from an mp3 player, and I really like this little beast. Design: It's incredibly tiny, weighs next to nothing and has a very useful clip on it's back, which makes it perfect for sports or any other activity. I for one think that I could not go back to mp3 players that don't have a clip, that's how used you get to it. I got the black version which is the most neutral one since the colored ones still have a black back, making them to be in two colors. Front of the player is glossy, leaving fingerprints and smudges if you touch it in areas between buttons. Buttons and the back of it are made from nice matte plastic. Overall the buttons are ok, the only real complaint for me is the lack of physical lock button on the player, to ... Screen is tiny especially if you are used to your iPods, Zunes and what not, but its also really sharp and I can see everything very clearly even from a distance. Features: This mp3 player has monster features, especially after rockboxing ( http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/WhyRockbox )it, which I highly recommend. Already with its base firmware it plays almost every audio format there is including FLAC. It has a decent radio tuner, a very simple equalizer, voice recording, simple audio file management, drag and drop file transfer and most of the settings you would expect. After rockboxing it these settings are greatly expanded especially if you want to change the look of the screen ( themes ) or care for really advanced equalizer settings, some simple games and applications. Sansa is widely known to have a great audio quality, which is greatly approved of in the audiophile circle and which is stated to be better than the quality of Apple iPod Nano and Shuffle series ( not sure about iPod Classic ). For me, a more price consious user coupled with the Meelectronics M6 ( http://www.meelec.com/M6_Series_earphones_s/246.htm ) headphones the sound is simply stunning for half the price of a Nano alone. Another great aspect of this player which comes in a 2GB, 4GB and 8GB variations is the SD card slot for a SD card up to 32GB and potential 40GB mp3 player ( 8GB + 32GB ). Battery Life: So here is the bad news. Due to its size, I guess, it has a battery life of 15 Hours of music playback, which is 9 hours less compared to the Nano. But with the default firmware, depending on your usage habits, its going to be closer to the 12 hour of music playback mark, although after rockboxing it I am happy enough to see it hit the 15 hour mark, as rockbox supposedly improves its battery life. Overall Value: There is not much else to say about it. If you need a decent, small and lightweight player for sports or every day use, are very conscious about your audio quality, need a small player to have up to 40GB of space, are happy with up to 15 hours of music playback and don't need or see the point of expensive mp3 players Sandisk Sansa Clip+ might be exactly the mp3 player for you.

This is a really great MP3 Player for the money has good memory plus a micro sd card slot its easy to use and very small and light with a belt clip. My only problem with it is the volume. At full volume it is not loud enough if you are in any kind of environment that has even a little noise. You need to change the earphone to ones that actually fit into your ear canal. Overall a good mp3 player

Good but unreliable.
Small, neat, efficient, fairly easy to use BUT not as reliable as it could be. I am now on my fourth one of these in just four years. The software corrupted on one, the USB connector broke on another and the display failed on the third. Despite these problems this is still a good buy. The clip for attaching to clothes works well. Drag and drop moving of podcasts and music from a PC is very straightforward. Sound quality and battery life are excellent. An annual purchase unless you are luckier than me!Small, neat, efficient, fairly easy to use BUT not as reliable as it could be. I am now on my fourth one of these in just four years. The best quality that you can find on the market for the money !
I am very pleased with this product. Firstly i have read a review on the internet and after reading it i have decided to buy it. I am using it for more than a month and i haven't had even a single problem with it ! When i first started it i noticed the low volume but after some settings changes it was okay. I recommend this mp3 player for everyone who wishes an amazing product for a low price. The quality offered for this price is more than i have ever wanted. I am using this player while i am doing all sorts of activities... except swimming. The design is simple and i think there shouldn't be anyone who would dislike it. The clip is very convinient when i am wearing jeans, it just fits perfect and i am able to switch between my songs way more easily than if it's in my pocket ! The ...
