  • Stupid Black Men by Larry Elder

Larry Elder reveals the truth behind the racism issue. He points out how many black leaders are actually keeping blacks in poverty by raising the race issue and turning blacks into racists who hate whites. Leaders like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton , and Spike Lee, all confirmed racists, are making money off the race issue and keeping many blacks in poverty by keeping the race issue in the forefront and keeping blacks angry at ALL whites. This is a must read book for ALL races!! I was cheering with each page I read. Larry Elder is a fantastic leader for any race. He can lead all races out of poverty and into reality. Hard work, sacrifice, focus on education, delayed gratification, avoiding bad moral mistakes, and maintaining optimism is the formula for sucess for ALL races! He calls ...

  • Great Book!!

Those who say there is no room for this perspective on race are unwittingly propogating the failures of recent history to "prop up" the black man who "needs your help". For how many more decades can we say that America has not given everyone a fair shake? This country was built on the "can-do" attitude of the literate and illiterate. If American minorities continually accept others' "help" and constant labeling as "in- need" and "unskilled", they embrace the same negative lables that conote "lazy" and "second-class". A first-class human helps themselves as much as they can, and even rejects kind-hearted help out of a sense of pride. Where is the pride in taking another persons' job just because you were born with different skin colors? Where is the pride of getting into college not because ...

  • Stupid Black Men by Larry Elder

Mr Elder lays it on the line. No ifs, ands or buts!!! He blasts those who perpetuate stereotypes and excuses for lack of success. His message is clear and to the point. If you want to succeed and are willing to try, you CAN do anything. Very readable and understood, this book can and will change your views on many things and can change your life. Read it with an open mind and think about what is being said. Any race, ethnic background, religion, sex or other factor you think is holding you back from whatever you really want out of life is not going to stop you unless you MAKE it!!!

  • A bold but needed approach

The book's title is not offensive after you actually pick it up and read it. The name is nothing but a mere attention draw. If you are or no a young African-American like myself pass this book on so we can stop using our color as an excuse for failure or fate. It's played out and Mr. Elder gives specific examples of who we thought were against us are really rooting for us and vice versa.
