Product Information

A tropical island resort becomes a place of nightmares after a mysterious epidemic turns the majority of inhabitants into bloodthirsty zombies. As one of four playable characters, your goal is to complete missions necessary for your survival, which means battling throngs of the undead with a variety of customizable weapons and finding a way off the fictitious island of Banoi. <br><br>Dead Island features an open-world environment in a campaign that supports up to four players for drop-in, drop-out cooperative action. The two male and two female characters have different strengths and weaknesses, which can be offset to a degree by leveling up. Experience points earned in combat can be used to improve a character's attributes and fighting skills.<br><br>When firearms and ammo are in limited supply, you'll be able to engage enemies in hand-to-hand combat with axes, machetes, knives, clubs, and similar edged or bludgeoning weapons that will degrade over time. Explore the island's urban areas, forests, mountain highlands, caves, beaches, and other locales from a first-person perspective, or utilize an over-the-shoulder view for melee combat.

    Un titolo che offre un sano divertimento specie se giocato in con gli amici

    Dead Island si propone con uno stile di gioco che ricorda più un giodo di ruolo con la possibilità di "livellare" uno dei personaggi che si possono scegliere all'inizio del gioco. E' ambientato su un'isola che per qualche strana ragione un virus infetta le persone trasformandole in zombie assatanati. Più che a Left 4 Dead, il gioco ricorda da vicino le meccaniche di Killing Floor e Borderlands, in cui ogni personaggio ha una sua abilità speciale. Inoltre le varie armi possono essere modificate e potenziate nel corso del gioco. La grafica e il sono si mantengono su buoni livelli. Il gioco offre anche la possibilità di cooperare assieme ad un altro giocatore in multiplayer fino ad un massimo di 4 partecipanti. Uno dei difetti forse sta nel fatto che ci si troverà con pochi proiettili e ...

    Lot of action and scary scenes

    I really enjoyed the game. I spent may hours playing and blowing up the zombies. The graphics were excellent. The audio was clear as a whistle. The many challenges kept you on your toes.

    Casual open world zombie coop fun

    Fun, open world. Customizing the weapons is fun. The special abilities/player upgrades system is hit and miss. I wish I had made different choices and there is no way to reset your skills. Beautiful graphics. The infected make me jump, when i can't see where they are rushing from. other than that not really that scary of a game. mostly gross.

    Good game, fun with friends.

    Got it on the cheap, looked like fun from the demos / vids. I had heard a lot of negatives about this game but I really enjoyed it. The characters are super cheesie and their stores are kind of lame. The game play is great though, especially with friends. If you like zombie games and rpgs this would be a good pick, especially if you can get it cheap.

    Great product, will have you up all night

    A great fast paced game with lots of blood and gore, and also, a way to have fun. I bought this product because just from the previews on TV, I was addicted, and wanted this game bad. I like how the graphics are really realistic in this game, and not just badly drawn characters. Compared to L4D + L4D2 and Borderlands, Dead island wins in my opinion :3 If I were you I'd buy it too.
