Product Information

The Creative Assembly returns to its empire-building roots with a trip back to feudal Japan for more real-time battles and turn-based strategy in Total War: Shogun 2. Featuring an updated user interface, expanded online modes, and refined AI based on Sun Tzu's classic warfare treatise The Art of War, Shogun 2 once again puts gamers in the role of a clan-leading daimyo as he uses diplomacy, economic programs, and military might to unite the turbulent world of 16th-century Japan.<br><br>Players choose from nine different clans as they battle through the main campaign, engaging in massive, five-stage castle sieges, terrain-specific attacks, and coastal naval battles, all the while gaining experience to level up their daimyo and his generals. The new user interface is designed to help gamers build, govern, train, and negotiate more easily, and new multiplayer options include cooperative action in the "Campaign Multiplayer" mode, as well as head-to-head and eight-player competitive matches.<br><br>This Gold Edition includes the full original game, the Rise of the Samurai DLC campaign set during the events of the Gempei War, and the standalone expansion Total War: Shogun 2 -- Fall of the Samurai, set 400 years after the events of the original game.

    Thank You

    I hear about this game from a friend,to find it right away was great and brand new in it's wrapping was eveen better. I could buy it out right, with out bidding was just what I needed. The game is great.

    Great in obe player

    Romw took out the single player bstuff, shogun kept it in and made battles better. a welcome surprise, lots of great cinematics, great battle and just totally absorbing. better tan it had to be, nice chaange after very disappointed with new Rome 2
