A Cute, Fun Film For the Family.
Happy Feet is a cute fun film the entire family can enjoy. The movie is full of humor that will be appreciated by old and young alike while the music will appeal to audiences of all ages. The animation here is top notch and the voice overs are some of the best in the business featuring talent from Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackman, and Nicole Kidman. The movie even won an Academy Award for best animated film. The only reason I don't give the film a perfect rating is because there is quite a bit of propaganda towards the end concerning environmental protection and global warming which tends to damper the easy going mood that prevails for most of the movie. All things in consideration, Happy Feet should be an easy choice is you or your family, especially if ... Happy Feet is a cute fun film the entire family can enjoy. Thumbs Up! Fun for the whole family!
This is a fun movie on many different levels. It can be enjoyed by both children and adults. The animation is wonderful and the characters a delight. Music, comedy, drama, dance, the story conveys the plight of the Emperor Penguin and the extreme antarctic conditions they endure to survive. Also brings to bear a valid point concerning the food chain and how it is changing. Entertaining, fun to watch, and informative at the same time, this movie should delight the entire family. Plenty of real life parallelisms for adults to be entertained by the animated characters in this film. If "Happy Feet," doesn't make you laugh, you may have misplaced your sense of humor......This is a fun movie on many different levels. It can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Happy Feet
In the cold land of Antarctica, the Emperor Penguins each express their true love with a special heartsong of their own that expresses their very being. However, the misfit Mumble cannot sing, but instead has an extraordinary talent to tap dance with almost magical energy and expression. Nevertheless, the deeply conformist leadership of the colony fearfully blames the young penguin's unorthodox ways for the lean fishing that threatens them all. Defiant in the face of unjust rejection, Mumble and his true friends set out to find the true cause of the famine. Through the motley crew's trials and perils, Mumble learns many things about his frozen world, not the least of which being that his toe tapping talent may be what he needs to save his people. Who knew a kids film could be so dam funny!!!
My wife wanted to see this movie since it came out and of course I blew her off finding all kinds of different reasons not to go. Well, I found it listed on EBay really cheap with cheap shipping so I figured I'm a wonderful hubby so I'll buy it for her. Well, she got her way and I got stuck watching it with her.. How horrible of her to make me watch so an awesome movie. The movie was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a very long time. The animation was incredible and I can tell you that I would recommend this movie for people of all ages.
