The "2012" edition of Tiger Woods PGA Tour is the first in the long-running golf series to feature a virtual re-creation of the famous Augusta National Golf Club, and allow players to compete for the coveted green jacket. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is also the first to support the PlayStation Move accessory, allowing players to take their swings using one-to-one motion control, and the PS3-exclusive Collector's Edition includes five additional championship courses from previous games in the series.<br><br>The new "Tiger at the Masters" mode re-creates each of Woods' four Masters wins, and challenges players to match (or beat!) his scores. Another 23 virtual versions of real-life courses come standard in the game, as well, including St. Andrews, The Royal Melbourne, and Pebble Beach. Through each hole in the tournament, a computer-controlled caddie is available to offer situational advice on strategy, shot selection, and green-reading. The game incorporates many of the series' other signature features, including a career mode in which players can develop a custom character and lead him onto the PGA tour. In other modes, gamers can golf as or against more than 20 professional stars of the sport. PGA Tour 12 also offers a revamped broadcast-style presentation, with commentary from Jim Nantz and David Feherty.

    FUN and CHALLENGING!!! - - -With practice, I might get better!!

    I purchased this game to go with my PS3 with the "Move" option. WOW! I'm in my 50s and the initial setup nearly wore me out. I'm still trying to get my character to look somewhat like me. I really have not gotten past the practice stage yet but I haven't had the chance to play all that much. I have found the putts to be quite challenging, as I haven't found the right "touch" yet. However, I'm not giving up! Using the "Move" controllers does make it more fun and somewhat more real, and I love the commentaries that the announcers use. I do like the game alot and I'm sure with practice, as in real golf, I'll get better... God, I Hope!!

    Collectors Edition vs Standard Edition

    The 5 EXTRA COURSES ARE on the DISC FOR SURE!!! I find it Unprofessional and Sad that EA pulled the games offline including all the additional courses (18 extra) But! this CE allows you to obtain 5 of those, no voucher/code. They Were pre-installed when the game was released! Its on the disc for those who are looking for confirmation, i can gurantee you 100%

    A must-have for any golf fan.

    FANTASTIC GAME!! The graphics are AMAZING, all 16 courses are rendered beautifully accurate. I love the new interface with the caddy (advising me on all my shots), it made the game much easier to play than the 2011 version...and a whole lot more fun when you're hitting FIR's and GIR's. This is a MUST HAVE for any golf fan, however avid video gamers looking for action (like found in FIFA or Madden NFL) might find it somewhat boring. I like the fact that its compatible with the MOVE controller, but wish it offered the "Party Games" (Disc Golf, etc) that the Wii version does. I purchased this game used for $29 and re-activated the online support by calling EA Sports Customer Service and obtaining another online pass. Just like buying a brand new game but saving about $50.00!!

    Do not buy this game used.

    I am VERY disappointed in EA Sports. Please read this carefully - If you buy this game used, you will not get all the functionality compared to a new version. Again - DO NOT BUY THIS GAME USED. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 is a great game, the graphics are breathtaking, it's fun to earn experience points and build up your golfer. The fact that you had to pay more for additional courses left a bad taste in my mouth, but I will probably not buy the next version until the new PS4 comes out, so I guess I can live with the added expense depreciated over the next few years. The game itself is fun, but the most expensive game I have ever played considering the DLC.

    Best Tiger Woods Game Ever!!!!

    I've owned every Tiger Woods game made, Either on Playstation/Playstation 2, Now Playstation 3... This is by far the best Tiger Woods game ever... The graphics are amazing and theres nothing better then playing at the Masters... Don't get me wrong for some reason they changed the putting on this game and it's harder then ever... But as a golfer myself putting is the hardest part about golf so I can't complain... The only thing that I HATE about this game is I bought the Collectors Edition so I can get the extra courses.. But I still have to pay more money at the Playstation Store to get the other courses that ain't included on the collectors edition... That was my main reason to buy the collectors edition to get all the courses but that's not the case... Overall it's a great game the only ...
