Players control Sherlock Holmes, and his faithful sidekick Dr. Watson, as they try to foil the machinations of fictitious literary contemporary Arsène Lupin. France's gentleman thief plans to purloin five of Great Britain's most precious artifacts in five days, so gamers must quickly uncover his plot. Rich with Victorian atmosphere, Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis takes players to historic British landmarks such as the National Gallery, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace. Gamers will have to meet over 40 distinct characters and discover more than 100 useful objects to solve the case and help take down the pilfering Frenchman.

    Didn't want it to end. Can't wait to play again!

    When I first started this game I quickly gave up thinking it was to hard because of the footprint hot spots and having to move Holmes and Watson yourself. With a little patience on my part the game was a'foot.. :-) I'm no expert in game playing at all so if I could not only figure it out but finish it, you can too. If you've played Nancy Drew games I think you'll defiantly enjoy this. I've completed 3 Holmes games and this one is my favorite so far! It has a help button so if you are miserably stuck or lost you can get help without having to leave the game. If anyone say's they finished it without getting any help, I wouldn't believe them :-) This is a huge challenge and take's awhile to complete, for me that makes this game even better and worth every dime spent! It defiantly has re-play ...

    best of the sherlock holmes games

    My son and I love to sit and play the mystery adventure style pc game. Our favorite is Nancy Drew but in between the time the new ones come out we look for others similiar. We have played the other Sherlock Holmes games and this one was the best in my opinion. Like the other Holmes games, we have to use the walkthrough quite a bit though. The puzzles were fun, the graphics were good, a little on the more difficult side...but still it is a fun way to pass the time, especially with a friend or someone you love.

    Awesome!!!

    This game is one of the best of its kind. although it is not as good as the one before, Sherlock Holmes: the Awakened, this is still a great game and i would recommend it to anyone that has the patience to wade through this games puzzles because there are a lots of them.

    Sherlock Holmes Nemisis CD-ROM

    This is a game that will require one to be very observant, analytical, logical, and methodical in mind. The puzzles, quizzes, and problems Holmes has to decipher are, at various levels, challenging and at times require a fair degree of mathematical aptitude. Patience is another quality necessary during & throughout the adventure. In order for Holmes (and Watson) to advance, many specific & detailed tasks & actions must transpire in this all encompassing & delightful "goose chase" Arsene Lupin lays out for Sherlock all around London. I recommend this game highly; especially if one has enjoyed previous games with Sherlock Holmes from Frogware's Entertainment. If such is the case, you then must with Holmes take up the gauntlet for this one and match wits with this master thief!
