The Digidesign Digi 002 Recording Interface can burn/duplicate the CD easily. It supports Digital technology and Console/Tabletop form factor discs for ease of use. This audio recorder can record multiple tracks and has MIDI Interface interface. With a 24 Bit (96kHz) maximum sampling rate, it lets you record audio files quickly. It is compatible with CD-R, Cassette media. In addition, this recorder/duplicator has built-in XLR In ports and features Built-In Microphone(s) for added functionality.

    sweet little box just dont pay too much for it sub $300ish

    I owned one before back in 07 then I paid I believe $1800, the Pres are very usable if you don't have any outboard, if you know what you are doing and have the proper listening environment you can make pretty nice sounding recordings. The converters are OK but far from mytek, plenty of ins and outs in a pretty sturdy built box. Well mine was stolen and I'm buying it again so that says something about the unit. I'm using outboard pres and conversion via s/pdif sweet.

    Still a great piece of gear

    This unit was used but in great shape. This is actually the second one I own. I bought this one as a backup but went ahead and built another recording system around it for use in my office at work.

    Digi 002

    The Digi 002 I purchased works great. I have no issues with it at all and I'm able to use it as a center piece to my home studio now. I would definitely say get your self one if you want to operate protools in your studio.

    If you have pro tools you need this

    Any one that will start any Daws will need to have this you may have a M Box or any fire wire interface this pro all the way to get more for your buck The D G 002 mixer is the same thing but if you look at the back of the unit they are the same I / O and inputs / outputs Mics so if you can get it do it Let's compare 300$ to 150$ go for 150$ Just don't miss out Batman AKA Homedepo N J

    Great Product

    Exactly what I hoped for. Was shipped quickly and everything works as it should. Mic pres sound crisp. Cant wait to expand using the ADAT connectivity.
