The gamepad itself feels brand new. Few scratches on the back but great otherwise. However the game pad itself unfortunately has a distance issue, and could only work if I put it on top of the Wii U. Very big oversight because otherwise, it works great. But more money to fix this issue isn’t fun.

Wiiu gamepad
The wiiu gam pad feels lightweight and is, but surprisingly durable. It's a good controller for kids and adults. The screen on the device allows you to play games or watch Netflix while someone else uses the tv. Or if you like me take it to bed when your sick and still watch shows. It's ergonomic and buttons are placed well. The material however is easy to notice any finger prints or otherwise so it'll make you want to clean it pretty regularly .The wiiu gam pad feels lightweight and is, but surprisingly durable. Bulky but not bad
I'm afraid mine arrived without a stylus, so I saw fit to salvage my old Wii U stylus. Hopefully, the pad will not become prone to a sticky joystick as before; I'll take care to keep it clean. The design is mostly familiar, so I can forgive the multiplicity of buttons. My biggest difficulty is in remembering where the plus and minus are with regard to each other, as well as remembering whether to hit L or ZL and R or ZR. I'm rather impressed that the pad comes with a camera, a microphone, and even a breath sensor. Not many games make good use of all these features, tho. Some games require this rather than another Wii U controller. When I've downloaded a game originally made for the Nintendo DS, even if it doesn't call for much use of the stylus, I prefer to look at the tiny screen ... The gamepad is durable and easy to use and its functionality is incredibly fun with its supported games. It is also infuriating that Nintendo does not support this very complex console any longer. They dont repair it or replace parts. The life expectancy of the rechargable cell in the game pad is short. Nintendo doesnt even offer these, and never did. 3rd party replacement batteries are available online but the manufacture of them is unregulated. You can buy 5 exact replicas and 5 "increased capacity" batteries from the same OR different sellers and its probable half will be dead on arrival, or shortly after. Just buying a new wii u is almost worth it. In closing, what an amazing concept and fun execution of a game peripheral. But the lack of nintendo support on something so complex is expensive and disappointing.

Good Replacement, but a bit too pricey.
It works well, but it was a little too expensive, I would sell one for $80 next time, other than that, it works perfectly with my Wii U, Just make the item less pricey next time please.
